We had a great night, perfect location for the northern quarter car park around the corner, bar has a great atmosphere and lively lager, and the staff are ace. Thanks for the beautiful fry up to sort out the hang over, love to Melissa and ... we hope to stay again next year! Marianne x
Location to the centre of Manchester
Rooms were not en suite, bathroom shared by a few rooms
Proximity to Rail Station. Helpful staff. Moved to another room as radiator wasn't working. The price is fair compared to other city centre places.
The fact that it was not made clear that the rooms are not ensuite. Strange smell in corridors. Limited choice for breakfast. Very tired building and scruffy but spotless where it needs to be. Ok for one night.
My stay was excellent had nice sleep as had exam in the morning lovely people she guide me very nicely help me where I wanted and for sure will go back and stay there again if I come back cheers Pankaj Desai (India)
Close by all the great bars if the NQ. Brilliant price compared to other hotels. Good hearty breakfast included in price
Nothing really, you get what you pay for £35.00 can't have any complaints
Staff were so lovely and helpful
Noisy in our room. Could hear other quests talking. Going to the toilet past our room was like a herd of elephants!!
Central location. Choice of beers was first class. Breakfast substantial and a very nice place to stay overnight in downtown Manchester.
Shared bathroom but that's completely to be expected unless you want to pay hotel prices. It was clean and modern like the room.
I liked the ease of getting to the rooms. Bathroom was kept very clean. My room was very clean and the bedding was very nice. Also get the steak pie. So yummy.
Room was a little drafty. Hot water and pressure in the shower was low. A little loud but to be expected.
staff was very friendly and polite. Location is very good 10 minutes away from piccadly garden. pretty clean and neat Veg breakfast was okay.. Working TV and comfy bed
WiFi connectivity is too poor. and window was not closing properly but would have been problem if it is too cold and heating is not adequate.
price and location
very tired old building, very small single room with dodgy window. Poor breakfast
- staff was very friendly - breakfast was nice - rooms and hallway were nicely decorated - not far from Manchester Piccadilly station
- steep staircase, no help with heavy suitcases - seems to be run down/old in general - only one wc/shower for the complete floor - loud noise from the streets/other guests (rooms are badly soundproofed) made sleeping difficult, same goes for street lights and not very effective blinds
Shower unusable no table and chair lead too short, need to put kettle on floor to boil water.
No facilities in room not made clear
Location, that's all.
No curtains on window. One bathroom per floor of 6 rooms. Cold shower. Rickety staircase. Generally unkept and run down. I would definitely not bring either my partner or children to this place. It is only BARELY adequate for a lads nite out.
Location, bar was good, good selection of beer, Burgers were excellent. Bar staff on Saturday were very friendly and apologetic.
Room wasn't ready by check in time, told to come back in 20 minutes, had to wait an hour. Upstairs bathroom door lock was broken, no hot water in sink in either of the bathrooms I tried to shave in, shower had two temperatures, cold or scalding. Toilet seat was broken in one. Wardrobe in room was falling apart, no TV or Wi-Fi signal so child got bored and noise from street meant she couldn't sleep straight away. Breakfast was very greasy and toast was black.
Location was good
Bed was not very good, bathroom, shower not working properly.
Nothing bad to say to be honest. The staff let us check in way earlier than they could have. They were really helpful and welcoming. The room (triple) was extremely spacious and the bathroom facilities were immaculate. It's location right in the middle of Manchester was an absolute steal when it comes to value for money. Will definitely be staying again!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Location is great, the staff were friendly and helpful, room had everything I needed and breakfast was great.
The room I stayed in had a lampost right outside so it was quite bright even at night, plus the walls are quite thin, but saying that I did sleep well.
The comfort of the bed, cleanliness and spacious rooms were great.
There was no toilet in our en suite, the noise, the staff were quite blunt unfriendly and certainly unhelpful.
Location Clean Comfortable Staff friendly (minus the cook)
No bathroom Breakfast cold
Location , close to city centre
Having to share a bathroom , with 4 other rooms , very noisy at night
very central location, and room was great for the one night. flat screen tv and tea and coffee facilities :)
the shower did not work, no pressure or hot water!!
