The Bath Hotel offers a superb location, in the heart of the village and directly opposite Lynmouth Harbour and the Lyn River. An excellent breakfast is served every morning.

Situated in the rural, picturesque hamlet of Stoke Rivers, the Stoke House Bed and Breakfast has great views of the Devon countryside.
Score from 170 reviews Superb
The hotel is located in the center of the town, so it is easy to get around to see the sights on foot . I also found it excellent value for money comparing it to surround accommodation, and the staff very pleasant.
Spacious family room
Shower didn't work properly. Cooked breakfast had to be ordered in advance and cost more.
Murals in bar! Lovely 4-poster bed Decor in bedroom Generous breakfast
bathroom could do with a facelift
The Inn itself is in a good walking area
Bed side wall light no bulbs and not working no bed side lights at all near double bed we didn't book for 2 children we had no children but were given a room with 2 single beds we didn't get told when or were breakfast was being served the room was fusky
we got a very good deal for a 3 night stay .The food was excellent and well priced. The staff friendly and very helpful
obviously the whole hotel and pub were being upgraded which it does need badly so if you are looking for modern and décor forget it------------
Location was perfect, liked the size of the bedroom and the very comfortable four poster bed, the bathroom was very clean with nice fittings. Although a fairly basic menu, the quality and amount of food offered on the hotel evening menu was excellent. The friendly relaxed atmosphere. Overall very good would recommend.
Dinning area for guests was a bit shabby. Breakfast lacked much of a selection, would have liked something cooked as an option.
Very friendly proprietors and staff. Clean & tidy rooms. Nice Breakfast.
Dated facilities in need of upgrade. Had to pay extra for cooked breakfast. Shower ran cold.
Tradtional no frills pub Dont expect high standards Tristan works hard to keep everything together
Employed staff lack of customer care Dogs in the eating areas of the pub Flies in the room Rough around the edges !
Very friendly staff. Very good food.
very unfriendly man on arrival at the bar
Lovely large room, and perfectly clean. Excellent home made and cooked food, and well kept real ales.
Bar, dining room, and reception could do with redecorating.
central, clean, quiet.
Homely and relaxed. Clean. Were happy that we had chosen the cheapest ....we could afford to eat out.
Sitting sideways on the WC. There was realy no room for it to fit between the wall and the bath.
All of it really
easy to stay here very clean comfortable good central location easy parking when not busy good beach and cliff top walking nearby quiet
The room was clean, well presented, with a good en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. The location was central to the town and this is potentially a fine old hotel. The price for the allocated family room (double requested) was very reasonable. The staff encountered were friendly enough.
The hotel had a run-down air. The main bar was not attractive, the breakfast room charmless. The whole place looked as if it was either part way through a refurbishment or on its way to being sold off. I hope the former is true.
location spacious room good value food (huge portions) price
manager made no effort to be sociable breakfast room needs revamp outside areas need tidying up
Evening meal was excellent
The whole place was shabby, in desperate need of refurbishment. Breakfast was cereal, fruit and toast - could have been better.
Location Bar Bar Food Room
good selection of real ales in bar.
shower was useless needs updating in some areas.
Really spacious room Nicely kitted out rooms. Great location as a base. Clean. Decent price for a family room. Good size family room. Nice 'in the price' continental Breakfast. Good to park. Very relaxed check-out.
Pub/Hotel did not appeal as a base or place you would want to spend the evening. Room access was 3.00pm, which we thought was late. No morning Hot Water. Wi-Fi does not get to all rooms.
Although there was no desk staff, the bartender was simultaneously the bartender, waiter and concierge and he had the energy to successfully juggle all of that work! Our room was very quaint, quiet and clean. Appreciated the tea and cookie selection. The hotel is also located perfectly for walking around town.
the hotel has a bar which is apparently the hangout for the late night crowd. very loud. did not get to sleep till after midnight.
Family room for 4 (1double 2 singles) spacious and enough storage, small bathroom bit tired but loved the age and style of the whole place. Free parking and free wifi in bar. Gorgeous little village and good first stop for us in Devon as we travelled down from the north. Must go on funicular/railway..!
Apparently you have to pre-book cooked breakfast athough we were not told this on reservation or when we checked in with barman, who although pleasant but did not give us any info.
Lack of information about breakfast and wifi until second day
