it was a definite place not some nameless chain hotel. Pleasant bar and fire. In winter the business of having to cross open space to get to the restaurant etc was a bit trying. |

Clean and tidy public areas. Good car parking facilities. Generous breakfast. Good peaceful location on the edge of the Cotswolds. Close to Cirencester but in the countryside. Meagre toiletries. Would prefer not to have had to go outside in order to access the restaurant. |

Friendly, helpful staff, good food & pleasant surroundings. Having to go outside, if only briefly, to reach our bedroom. The bedroom curtains were sadly in need of repair or replacement. |

Countryside, homely feel with nice old pub at the front. The beds were uncomfortable. Didn't like having to go outside to the rooms, even though it was a few steps |

Its location by the river gave a peaceful access whilst it was ideally situated to access many of the tourist attractions in the Cotswolds. It was spotlessly clean and good value for money. The bar meals were generous and very good quality. The only minor disadvantage was the fact that there was a lot of noise outside our room on the Saturday night as there was a wedding reception going on in the function room. As it was good weather, guests spilled out into the courtyard, which was not a problem, but the noise went on until almost 1 am in the morning and many of the wedding guests staying at the hotel were not very considerate of other guests. |

Cirencester's only town centre 3-star hotel, ideal for the Cotswolds. Old beams, log fires, courtyard, car park. Stylish restaurant at sensible prices. Privately owned. |
