Reception ist foreign gent in bar and restaurant and the young lady at breakfast were pleasant polite and helpful. Good room and food excellent. To top it off all at a very good price. Well done thanks to everyone. Regards Stuart Turner.
Nothing. All good
Setting, friendly staff and good food
Food , service & location
rooms were a bit dated in decoration
Slightly tired in parts and a fair bit of door banging early evening - our room was by the office.
Very pretty location, nice and quiet. Great food in the pub although a little expensive.
Little cold in our room
We enjoyed the authentic Cotswold environment with log fire and good food. service was excellent
the bar meals a little on the expensive side
Large room, clean and warm. Good shower and bathroom.Nice and modern.evening food and breakfast were ok.It was so quiet and comfy I overslept!
Although other reviews didn't like walking outside to their rooms, it's all under cover around a pleasant courtyard.
Location was excellent for access to Cirencester and the Cotswolds. Room was spacious, clean and well presented, with lovely views over a stream Food was superb.- both evening meal and breakfast. Staff were helpful and accomadating..
Bed was a little too firm. No where to sit and relax to enjoy drinks before our evening meal - there is a lounge off reception, which would be ideal, but had to sit in restaurant (prior to eating) for over an hour.
Location is quite good, just 3 miles away from Cirencester and other places are close by
Room is noisy, you could hear different sounds in the corridor, floor and etc. Flooring and wardrobes could do a bit with upgrading. Not much choice for breakfast, usually you get to see and choose english breakfast and pastries from the tables. But here we only had cereals, everything else had to be ordered
Breakfast was good and well presented Nice view from the room..
Evening meal was very ordinary ,my partners Piri Piri was full of vinegar as were the poached eggs at breakfast . The room was okay for what we paid but this was supposedly half price ! None of the rooms on the website looked like ours .
The staff were very friendly and the room, extremely clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and a very good atmosphere in the bar.
Unfortunately, I could not get a signal on my mobile phone and having been given the Wi-Fi password could not connect to it.
Very friendly staff, a good comfortable hotel to stay in.
Was a bit expensive this time, had to pay £25 more than the first time I stayed.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff throughout. View over brook outside bedroom.
GOing outside in rain to reach room
Staff were very pleasant. Very good breakfast, well cooked.
We arrived quite late and no one could tell us the pass word for the WiFi.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. This is not our first visit as we use this venue as our country 'retreat', somewhere to relax in the beautiful Cotswold countryside...
Lovely setting, friendly staff and lovely food. Perfect location for short break.
No complaints all good.
-great food -kettle,tea bags and instant coffee in the room
-WiFi with login name and password which can not share
The view from bedroom over the cricket pitch and watching ducks on the stream
Bedroom being over courtyard and having to go up wet staircase in pouring rain after dining in restaurant.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable; it was situated away from the main reception area and looked out over the river. We really enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant and would definitely recommend it.
Good situation for visiting Cirencester and surrounding area. High standard of room. High standard of food. We enjoyed the ambiance of the Country Inn.
Location is lovely. Hotel is cosy.
Little tired decor-wise but wouldn't cause me not to stay there. Uncomfortable bed - mattress thin and hard in our room. No hot water at all from sink in morning. Cost us £115 for one night - absolutely over priced.
Everything except the criticisms in the right hand block
No grab rails to aid access to bath and shower Not sufficient shelf space in bathroom
Staff excellent. Comfortable stay. Good food.
No mobile phone reception. Breakfast not served until 8.00 which is too late if you have an appointment to get to
