Strangford village made up for the poor service we received.

Disorganised when taking orders for for meals. Failed to take down correct notes for meals. Very poor and inadequate breakfast. Just how could they get this wrong. 2 slices of bacon on a huge plate. We went home feeling very disappointed with our experience.

We stayed at The Cuan as a birthday treat, lovely wee town and great accommodation, the staff were great and brought his cake out and sang with us, and the food was amazing. Can highly recommend.

We enjoyed everything about The Cuan. The owners, Peter and Caroline, were exceptionally friendly and accomodating as were all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were very impressed. The accomodation was lovely and the food was superb. The Cuan is well worth a visit.

    Loved everything.

The staff here are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Large, comfortable rooms, great food, excellent wine selection. Everyone gets individual attention from the hosts and they go out of their way to accommodate individual requests.

    Faultless!

The staff and guest inn was excellent could not fault it. The only thing I would say is there is not much to do in the area, but other than that I will recommend the guest inn no problem to others. The staff were an absolute pleasure and exceptional welcoming and full of chat . I applaud you on your staff and their friendliness. As it was our first time ever to stay In Portaferry and we were very happy with the reception we got. Kind Regards RICHARD

The hotel is spotless and comfortable. Peter, his wife and the staff at the hotel always make you feel very welcome and I would highly recommend a stay at the Cuan. Colman that works at the hotel is a proper gentleman and he is a mine of information on the history of the area.

The Wi-Fi signal could be better in the hotel but that is a very minor issue on an otherwise great place to stay.

Excellent staff - made me feel very at home as a solo traveller. Food was excellent and service with a smile and a willingness to chat if I wanted to but would leave me alone too when I just wanted to eat and read.

Peter & Caroline and their staff could not have been more welcoming and pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is in 'can do' mode. The inn makes something of its food prowess and lays on foody and/or entertainment events through the year.

    Nothing.

Easy to locate just around the corner from the ferry. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Spacious room with separate visitors lounge. Excellent cooked breakfast with wide choice of delicious dishes.

knowing that the hotel also had an award winning restaurant.
