This B & B was superb and the best we have found in Dartmouth. The owner was extremely professional and the room was so clean and immaculate throughout. Breakfast was also a 10/10. Hats off to a man/team who are working hard to provide an excellent service - hard to come by nowadays. We will return for sure!
We loved the decor and the style of the B&B. Excellent choice at breakfast served in a lovely garden room with views over the surrounding countryside. Plenty of parking at the B&B but worth noting the steep walk to and from the centre it could be a bit challenging for some. We used the local taxi service on one occasion and they were good value. All in all a lovely weekend break.
Friendliness of Niel and his staff. Very accommodating when we were late arriving. Comfortable and homely. It's at the top of Dartmouth and a great (although steep) walk to town. Bus or taxi back up £4-5 . Had a great 3 night stay will go again.
The manager Neil, and staff were very helpful . Good breakfasts.Very clean and modern rooms.
No heating in shower/toilet,not even a heated towel rail!
When the main door opened you could smell the fresh flowers. The accommodation was extremely clean and well presented throughout, and very tastefully decorated. There were framed pictures created by a local artist which complimented the interior décor. The hospitality and the breakfast service was excellent. Good quality products very well cooked and well presented. An excellent view from the dinning room on to the river Dart. Will definitely recommend to others and will go back again myself.
In the bedrooms there were china cups and saucers, a personal thing really but would have preferred a nice mug, personally think would have gone better with boutique style décor.
Very friendly and helpful host
- Friendly welcome - Emmaculate room
- It was a bit of walk into town.
The deluxe room had great views and a beautiful four poster bed
Lack of wall heaters in the bathroom in the deluxe room and found the standard room quite stark and bear. I would have prefered more furniture in there.
This was the cleanest and most friendly B&B we have ever visited. Everything was excellent. We had a wonderful weekend and the excellence of the B&B made our 45th Wedding Anniversary extra special. We have already recommended the Dartmouth Boutique to our family and friends.
Spotlessly clean, everything was very modern and looked quite new. Breakfast was good and served fresh to order. The host was friendly and helpful. The boutique hotel had its own car park.
Up a very steep hill so perhaps not suitable for those with walking difficulties, however a bus stops very close to the hotel from the town centre so that is a useful thing to know. The hotel room was very white and minimalist which perhaps might not be to everyone's taste.
Very welcoming owner. Tasteful decor and great service.
High up on the hill overlooking Dartmouth. Long steep walk down to the harbour, although taxi and bus service very good>
Views. Breakfast. Host.
Needed a shelf in the bathroom. Host could have done with some help.
Parking. Friendly. Good shower. Breakfast. Clean Quiet. Everything
Tea cups too small :)
This what a quality B & B is all about - attention to detail, excellent service and a superb and helpful host. Not a fault to be found. Parking on site a big positive
Beautifully decorated. Furniture and fittings of very good quality. Immacuately clean and fresh. Breakfast good with a healthy choice.
A wonderful welcome, lovely room, excellent breakfast....everything was perfect
Lovely helpful staff. Great breakfast. Great views
A hike from the ferry!
The Room was clean and comfortable. The Views from room were lovely of Dartmouth
A lovely place to stay. Plenty of parking which is normally very hard to come by in Dartmouth. Very friendly and welcoming and I would certainly stay there again
friendly, tastefully designed, excellent breakfast. very pleasant stay
bed was too small for my partner & pillows & duvet could have been boutique quality
Recently Refurbished The Darmouth is spotlessly clean and well presented. A nice warm welcome from Neil and plenty of local information. The hotel is well placed for Dartmouth itself .. Its walkable ..but its a steep walk back ... as we arrived on a Sunday we didn't want to trust the buses, So i drove back down for dinner. Superb breakfast room with great views ..( just wished the windows opened a bit more) Decent breakfast with plenty of choice. Beds are comfortable ... Highly recommended though ... do hope the team can keep up the high standards that they have started with
just a couple of points - although probably very trendy and retro I was not a big fan of the metal "Old style" bedsteads ..reminded me of being in the San at boarding school, and not a bunch of fun when yr toes collide with the frame in the night ! :-( As the bedroom doors (downstairs Rm 1) are very close to each other ..someone trying to get into the room next to us sounded like they were trying to get into our room, a bit un-nerving at night. Also the bathroom fan in the room above us, when left running was quite obtrusive..small things - but just take the edge off
There was nothing not to like. We had a very enjoyable stay.
Close to all the things we wanted to see and do.Buses Boat trips good eating places.
wonderfull view on a silent place, very warm welcome and very helpfull informations from the owner, very clean and asthetic fitting
• Central location for South Hams • Amazing views • Tasteful decor • Efficient, friendly and intuitive staff
