The hotel is very clean and there was always someone available at reception. The staff are very pleasant and the breakfasts were good. There were always spaces available in the car park.

Generally, we liked the hotel. All as expected and for once a hotel with a decent shower and light in the rooms. The internet connection was a bit up and down. The local council could clean up the surrounding streets could as quite a lot of broken glass.

Small informal hotel in Jesmond. But great location, safe parking and very clean. The price belies this gem of a hotel. The breakfast choice is plentiful and filling. I don't think you can go wrong for the price coupled with friendly staff, I look forward to staying again. If tey upgrade the wifi speed it be champion.

Went up to the dene hotel this past weekend and had a pleasent suprise after only paying £45 pound for my hotel room I was expecting quite a average hotel, I must say the staff were helpful and welcoming and the room very clean after booking just a single room I was most suprised when I walked in and seen a large double bed and a stylish room design and most pleasing of all the city centre was only 5 minuetes away in a taxi.

The standard of cleanliness is outstanding, and the service for the stated category and price is impeccable. In addition, the staff are most freindly and welcoming. Surprisingly, there was nothing we didn't like. This is most unusual.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good, not too far from the center. Would definitely recommend to friends. We stayed in a room with 3 beds. It was cramped but still clean and comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently situated for the city centre and is only a short taxi ride from the main hub of the city. The hotel staff are fantastic and very friendly and the bar area is very good too. The hairdryer in our room was broken but other than that everything else was maintained to a good standard

I was able to park my car around the duration of my visit from 11:00 AM on the Saturday until I actually left Newcastle at aouut 13:00 on Sunday. The room was fine - just what I needed - and the showers were excellent - Good Temperature & Good Presure. Breakfast was fine too. The staff were very freindly. And Wolves got a fine 2-2 draw! Perfect!

I booked this hotel in a rush the morning we stayed. Myself and my 17 years old daughter stayed in a twin room, B&B, as she had an interview at 9 the next morning for Northumbria Uni. It's not the Ritz, but does offer clean, quiet and adequate accommodation in an ideal travelling distance between both campus. There was a power shower in the ensuite and the rooms were warm, nearly too warm. The breakfast was basic but more than ample. There are plenty of cafes and good restaurants in the immediate area to dine out. We couldn't fault it and would recommend it for this type of trip.

Michael on reception was very helpful and deserves to be recognised for this.We were guets at a wedding evening party and decided it would be easier to stay overnight in Jesmond rather than driving home On first entering reception it seemed a bit 'sparse and dimly lit, which was a shame considering that the decor in the hotel was immaculate. However once we looked around we realised it was just a bit minimalist. I would suggets a couple of large green plants and/ or lamps would make the hotel a little more inviting as the furniture was of very good quality. All in all a very pleasant experience though

The second room we were allocated (no27) was very tastefully decorated and the bed comfortable. The breakfast on offer was more than adequate. After specifically requesting a first floor room, due to both of us having knee troubles, we were put on second floor. With the second set of stairs being very steep and the lift being out of order again, we complained and were moved to a first floor room (no27). The room was very cold when we arrived. The shower cubicle was rather small.

Our room was available sooner than expected and the room and staff were pleasant. I didn't like the hot and hot water in the ensuite(no cold water). The location of the room meant we got all the noise of the late revellers. And no biscuits in the room.
