Everything was very good clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay be it short but wish it could have been longer. We stayed for two days in December and our room was cosy and warm.
Great location with the beach just down the road and only 10 mins walk to the station (ideal since we didn't bring a car). Staff professional and helpful. Room was nice and warm even on a freezing winter day. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Almost everything on the Island was shut for winter!
breakfast lovely with plenty of choice. b a b close to beach.owners very friendly.place spotless.
Friendly owners; excellent breakfast; quiet & comfortable room. Quiet location but very close to seafront.
Very handy for the bus route
No Gordon's gin would have been nice.
ideally situated for the sea front and the buses to two main locations
should have booked a double T V gave us neck ache not so good location but to be fair there was not to many places it could have gone shower did not have much pressure
Twin bedroom, it was actually triple room. Location. Breakfast, we had smoked salmon and egg both days. Artwork was very good (Gerry Baptist).
Decor, it would drive me mad to live there but for a couple of days, who cares! Shower, almost a dribble!
Quiet, close to town, good internet connection and parking.
Very clean. Good breakfast. Good location. Very pleasant owners.
The room was spacious and clean with nice 'extras' tissues, cotton wool buds, shower gel. The breakfasts were well cooked. The owners were friendly and attentive.
The shower was a bit small and not overly hot. The shower room window would not close and so the shower room was on the cool side (mid October).
Friendly staff, great breakfast and clean bathroom
Very comfortable and well equipped. Seafront and bus-stop 2 minutes walk away. Friendly welcome and good breakfast. Couldn't ask for more!
Friendliness of staff Clean and tidy
Did not even try to find faults, as there weren't any! We were well looked after with a super choice at breakfast. Asked for minimum stairs to our room, and were given the ground floor Room 1. Could not have been better. Free parking was a bonus.
Nothing to say!
Clean, good breakfast, near to the sea and shops.
I was made very welcome. It was like a family house, where there was a sitting room for guests to use. Good food and plenty of it. A restful sleep. The propietors were lovely people, who were friendly but gave you space where you needed it. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Will be back for more.
There is nothing negative to say.
Very friendly and easy to find and a good location to travel around the Island. Very easy to park and a comfortable atmosphere all round.
Made us feel most welcome on a sad occasion, food wonderful .
All six days.
I WISH I COULD HAVE TAKEN THE BED HOME SO COMFY THE FOOD WAS TOP CLASS THE PLACE TO STAY IN ISLE OF WIGHT. WELL DONE.
Very convenient to the beach. And the bus station is only 1 minute walking distance, for foot travellers. What the best is the breakfast, very nice!
All was great. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Food very good.
every thing clean, well decorated, large bedroom, plenty of food and hot went it arrived at the table . Friendly owners and pleasant staff , and was only 3 min from beach as stated one word for every thing excellent
The welcome made you feel like family, the rooms were comfy and well equipped, fantastic breakfasts and a lovely intimate bar with reasonable prices. And it was only 5 mins walk from the high street and the beach.
Having not had a 'bed and breakfast' experience for several years, I was not sure what standard to expect. The standard set was very high, with the breakfast quality a highlight. Quality of décor first rate.
