Really nice pool, gym and location; breakfast was really good also.
The bar was a bit pricey and lacked choice of beers. As regards the menu it lacked choice also and the only steak was about £25.
Brilliant staff - mix up with room service order sorted immediately. With apology and to my satisfaction. Room comfortable and quiet Food good
Television needs updating/replacing.
Friendly staff and leisure facilities also great breakfast.
TV in room had no BBC channel despite request to change. Previous clothes left in room and very dusty.
Very relaxed & welcoming
Room was spacious, clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and would recommend this hotel.
Could not fault anything
Breakfast Friendly Staff
Quality of Room Room very hot Loud Extraction Fan outside room window
It was very handy for where we wanted to go.
The room was ok clean no problems there. Think because we got a good deal we seemed to have not such a nice room as we could have had.not a lot of room.
Lovely hotel, lovely atmosphere, I didn't feel uneasy travelling alone. Top marks! Thank you
Staff were pleasant, and more than helpful. We are a motorcycle club and this is the 2nd time we have used this hotel for our Agm and Christmas party; we will definitely be using it again.
Not enough time to enjoy the leisure amenities.
Excellent staff, very polite and courteous. Comfortable and clean with nice leisure facilities to hand.
I wonder if the £7.50 charge for their steak for 'inclusive' guests (business) is actually a turn-off for some??? Just a thought...
Lovely hotel Staff very polite and helpful Room was perfect.
We could not seem to switch heating off so it was like a sauna in the morning!!
The room was the end of a corridor next to a stair case with people banging doors and being noisy up to 1am TV was the oldest one I have ever seen and crackling then loosing picture
Very clean and comfortable. No noise, and I slept very well. Great breakfast when I got up, and I would definitely recommend a stay here! I will be back every time I visit Manfield in the near future!
Only little issues. No main light in room, and no waste bin near coffee making facilities- nearest was in bathroom.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice leisure centre. Comfy room.
Meals and breakfast far too pricey.
Ease of connections to the surrounding areas.
I will be staying again I found we had a pleasant stay
food was good but very expensive I wont be dining there again
Pool, sauna, breakfast, restaurant and service, bed, en suite, reception and service, quietness of room,
TV had intermittent fault, air conditioning could go cooler
Spar fantastic, staff were very good . Found the bar rather expensive.
The mattress was very well used and found it very difficult to not end up in middle with the mattress up around me and the wife. Room 190 we had family in room 151 and they had the same problem .
We needed a comfortable base for a short break, only an hour from home with interesting places nearby. D. H. ticked all those boxes. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our one complaint was quickly sorted and the hotel apologised. The Leisure Centre was particularly attractive. We will certainly come again.
We felt the stay was value for money, although my wife and I are irked by the trend in hotels to require separate payment for breakfast. Of course we want breakfast and it should automatically be included in the price.
Sleep quality amazing
Good hotel ina brilliant location if a little faded in places. Downstairs bedrooms need a bit of a makeover-they were at their peak ten years ago. Bathroom had cracked floor tiles, mopping required under fittings. Nothing serious but the full room rate would render the rooms over priced.
Room was okay. Breakfast was okay apart from cardboard cornflakes ; (
Breakfast was average
Friendly easygoing but efficient staff. Comfortable very well equipped room. Makes for a very relaxing break.
Location great, really easy to find off M1. Staff at reception pleasant and helpful. We had no child's bed when we arrived late at night and they rectified that situation very quickly
The room we were in smelt very musty. We were too tired to ask to change rooms. The bathroom also had a cracked sink which leaked.
