    Location good,

Hotel rooms need modernising, and bar needs a bit more atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Love the location & the fact that it's not a modern building. Also the history of the hotel & the punchbowl itself is very interesting. Have visited many times.

    Bar meals very good.

TV kept losing signal. Single duvet was more like a nursery size. Waited 10mins for any employee to allow checking out.

The man on reception greeted us as if we were an old friend and you immediately felt right at home. He was attentive and very eager to make sure we had a good stay. The food in the hotel was wonderful and very well presented and prompt even thought there was a large party eating as well.

The bedroom and bathroom were a little dated but very very clean

Location is right next to Devils' Punchbowl which is well worth a walk around if you have time. Room was clean & fair size. Price for room and breakfast was good value. Staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking space. Easy Wifi access.

Nothing really to complain about, especially considering the price.

The price for the location met my budget working in Guildford it was reasonable for that area, breakfast was good and bar meals was even better the food standards gave a 5*. Plenty of room for parking. Hotel was located right next to the devils punch bowl national park.

The decor was a little tired and smelt a little fusty. Hotel receptionist could do to be a bit more friendly. All other staff where fine.

Despite some negative feelings we did enjoy our stay. Food and service were very good and staff helpful and polite.

Looking a bit tired, especially the outside. Felt that the hotel had seen better days. Closure of main road past the hotel having an affect I think. No wine list just choice of two wines.

The price and location between Farnham and Chichester. Helpful Manageress.

Decor of hotel generally tired. Room very dark. Some staff none too friendly. Fried food tasted and smelt a bit unpleasant. Wi-fi only working intermittently.

Location. Cooked Breakfast excellent. Evening food very good.

Whole premises needed a thorough clean. Needs a lot of TLC and some light coloured paintwork. Windows/doors in public areas dirty. Bathroom tiles well and truly cracked and dirty. A time warp but not in a good way!!

Location to the Devils Punch Bowl walks. Seemed to be a friendly atmosphere.

Hotel requires a bit more TLC to shine again.

    The staff were polite

The decor was very tired and the hotel had the smell of an old folks home. We didn't think it was very clean. The TV was tiny and didn't work and the wi-fi didn't work with the password given. The tea and coffee facilities were very minimal.
