We had a good deal . Staff were helpful the only thing I would say they need bigger towels in the bathrooms as they were not much bigger then hand towels
Towels too small x
I have stayed here several times, A lovely place to stay, good food and helpful staff.
The location was fine and the service and staff were good.
Great friendly welcoming staff Comfortable clean room Great Wifi coverage and speed Shower with a good bit of pressure Really good quality food in the restaurant and for Breakfast Country mile better than a bland, faceless Travelodge
Didn't book here when in the area earlier!
Staff good and helpful.
Bar table were dirty and sticky. rooms smelt damp and bathroom mouldy, basin broken. Bathroom ceiling lights, clearly replaced not finished to a good standard.
Friendliness of staff and good service. Food was very good.
Very poor shower as it was difficult to turn on and came out as a dribble. Radiators needed bleeding as they didn't heat up properly. Bathroom needs ventilation as window frame was encrusted with mould and this is a health hazard and should be at least kept clean!
An excellent hotel at a very reasonable price, would defiantly recommend it.
Friendly staff and very comfortable rooms
Lounge and bar area in need of refurbishment
easy access, no fuss approach, bar and restaurant, friendly staff, tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Um, 20 years ago the tiny television would have been fine, but the 12 inch screen really does belong in the museum, you know you can get pc monitors larger than the old tv in the rooms, the rooms are a bit dated and look tired, one other thing, why do cold countries not have mixer taps in their bathrooms, you either have to wash your hands in ice cold water or burn them with the hot water tap, c'mon bring the rooms in to 20th century and then the 21st. and please, please put that box where it belongs, in a museum, and invest a little money and purchase some tv's, you have them in the bar.
Although the outside of the hotel was a little untidy, the inside was lovely and clean. The staff were very helpful, and it was excellent value for money.
Didn't find anything against it.
Location great for walking & fantastic views . Staff & Food very good .
Decor & finishing a bit tierd in some places.
Comfortable room Good food
We went for one night to go walking, and found it a very pleasant place to stay and perfectly located. The facilities were fine and the staff were very helpful.
The shower was very good and the room very clean. The breakfast was good. Overall we thought it was good value for the amount we paid.
The room was gloomy and the fittings tired.
Friendly staff Good bar Spacious room
Emergency light glow in the room whilst black out curtains kept out light, seemed at odds
Stayed here as had to be out of house for night, couldn't get anywhere else at short notice on a Friday night and was not expecting much as price was so low!!! Place seemed to be run by two guys!! Both totally rushed off their feet but so polite and accommodating! Food in bar was excellent! Room was a bit tired but was lovely and clean and beds were comfy, plenty of hot water.
My only slight problem was that room was very cold but after a hot bath and an extra blanket we slept well. No phone signal on Vodaphone but that's not hotels fault
Our rooms were given to someone else, no compensation offered, not even breakfast. Very tired rooms, very tired hotel, 9 white vans in the car park should have told us what to expect. Cheap but not cheerful. Mold in bathrooms, matres like a hamoch, never again....
Location , food
Wifi range is poor
Bacon in the morning
Lack of wifi signal
the service was outstanding and the staff polite and always willing to go that extra mile highly recommended place to stay
The staff were friendly, attentive and courteous. The food available in the bar was of a good standard and value for money.
Staff were friendly and helpful Everything was clean
The outside of the property needs some renovation. The inside was clean and tidy but needs some updating.
Location was great. Room was a good size.
Room was damp. Window latches were broken. No shampoo in the bathroom. Receptionist having a fag outside the front door.
