I thought the menu was very good, food to match. If this hotel laid on specials weekends i/e Christmas breaks etc with some sort of package. I would consider.

Only wished that the grass had been cut before our arrival and not the day of our last of (2) departure.

It was a fabulous stay. The owner and staff were really good and friendly. One night they re-opened the kitchen to prepare dinner as we arrived late. The owner gave lots of tips/ advice for sight seeing. It was great and amazing.

The garden didn't have a dog proof fence and was close to a busy road Very little tourist information at the hotel, a local map or information on walks in the area would have helped as we had our dog with us

The staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. The room was excellent and I would have paid double for the room! Amazing breakfast aswell

I had a bathroom for disabled travellers (room 1). The wash hand basin was so small and mixer tap hopeless that I struggled to wash/shave.

Nothing I disliked about the Hotel, but very poor mobile phone reception, which has nothing to do with the hotel.

Basic greeting on arrival neither friendly or unfriendly. No electricity for an hour or so on arrival. Pile driving to install fence went on for two hours on a Sat late afternoon / evening. Very noisy. After a long drive we wanted a snooze - not possible.

Staff are warm and friendly adn efficient with a great sence of humour. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling. The room we had was light, large and comfortable and spotlessly clean as were all other areas. They clearly work really hard to keep this place nice. Had dinner and breakfast there and the food is really tasty, well cooked and mostly sourced locally which shows in the freshness and flavour

We were a group of 3 adults staying in the family room, the room was very clean, modern, and had plenty of towels, and tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble, we asked for a hairdryer and the Wifi password and got them with no bother. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Would highly recommend, and would return again.

The staff and food were both excellent. Even the staff that were not working we're in having a drink with some locals, all very friendly. Maddie is a right character and a bit mad.

Not being able to get a telephone line in my room and the problems with the coffee machine.

The hotel deserved it's 4* status. The room was spacious and well furnished. The bar and restaurant menus were good and we enjoyed the breakfast.

All colleagues were very attentive and friendly

The shower cubicall was small, with no shelf for toiletries. The was also no space for wash bag in the bathroom, other than on the floor

Bedroom was well fitted out plenty of storage very well decorated, first class. Breakfast was amazing :-)

Atractive Inn in a picturesque country setting . Very welcoming staff, leading to comfortable and pleasant accomodation which lacked for nothing .New menue started the day before was small , BUT the meals we chose were exeptional . All credit to the new chefs... We did not visit elswhere as we are locals and simply wanted a short break during easter.

Breakfast......... Staff excellent cooked breakfast of a good standard but not a lot of it. The main let down was a tea bag in a cup of hot water !!! WHATEVER happened to the tea pot ?? . Whilst another cup was promptly offered upon request the only milk available was in a jug next to the cereals on the breakfast bar.This small glitch was in total contast to an otherwise upmarket experience of the Inn
