Simon was inpecable Friendly helpful Food was excellent Cozy rooms close to center of the village
Gardens, Played Croquet. Excellent Breakfast Great setting
Room and bed extremely comfortable. Restaurant excellent and the breakfast choice superb
Ladies require a mirror next to the hairdryer and its plug. Heated towel rail not operational in the classic room
Very comfortable room and having the garden facility was so helpful as we had our dog with us.
Excelent Localization in one of the best villages of CotsWolds. Beautifull building and good service.
Breakfast could have been better.
It is a perfect location and a nice hotel. Full of character. The breakfast was lovely.
The particular room we were in was very very small.
Location. Ambience. Good service. Excellent food - both Breakfast and Evening meal.
No safe in room. Expensive room rate. Expensive drinks, including tea, coffees and snacks etc.
The location was central to the village. The breakfast was good.
The over priced evening meal. The fact that no food was available in the evenings of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. None of the other staff could even offer a sandwich! The staff seemed to lack experience / training in running a hotel.
The staff were all very friendly and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable .
The decor doesn't suit the style of building . The choice of cereals was poor at breakfast with only regular cereals and milk on offer - no muesli or fruit or yoghurt.
Location and staff were helpful
Bedroom was too small for an Executive Dinner menu was limited
Location, location, location ! Fantastic location in the centre of the village with ample on site parking. Delightfully quaint - not sure of the value for money, but most enjoyable stay
Hot tub was being cleaned and therefore out of service.
Great location if you are looking to be in the centre of a very busy village.
Lack of privacy in the room - people in the garden could look straight into the bathroom and people walking up and down the hall/stairs passed within inches of the head of the bed. Gourmet Tasting Menu - excellent presentation but frankly overpriced and rather disappointing.
Reception staff friendly, location of hotel
Narrow bed, difficult to use hair dryer near mirror, no fresh orange juice on first day, rooms dark and numerous bulbs on wall lights in dining room not working.
The garden and garden games The room was spacious and luxurious The level of detail that had been thought about in the decor of the hotel
Plates were taken the second our forks were put down at breakfast! So top marks for promptness but let me finish my toast first!!
Location, friendly staff, clean fresh room. Breakfast was perfect
Menu for evening dining. On reflection the price per night.
Room was beautiful .Four poster bed ! Which was extremely comfortable .Gardens are an oasis of calm.
No one told us their was a hot tub.
Location, and atmosphere
Bit pricey, drinks and restaurant.
The Dial House is well located, have excellent service and stunning gardens. Beautiful setting. We loved it here and will definitely return. It is peaceful, tranquil and well-maintained.
Unfortunately the spa bath (probably to set them aside from others in the village) was so uncomfortable and had a handheld shower head. This is my only complaint to an otherwise exceptional stay.
Location, staff, cleanliness and quiet, yet on the road
Price, 2nd floor no lift, tiny window in the bathroom, basic
Clean room Good bed Good restaurant Nice garden Very friendly staff
No airconditioning Poor quality wifi in the guest/ old coach house
location room breakfast
Loved the evening meal. Delicious fine dining, each course explained in loving detail by our host. Great location, right in the centre of the town but set back from the hustle and bustle that is normal in Bourton-on-the-Water. Would definitely recommend.
The steps to get into the outdoor jacuzzi need to be proper pool steps, not just a stepladder. But that is just a minor point; the pool was lovely.
