Our room was fine, but we should have been informed that you had changed from a Hotel to a B&B. It is not as if you did not have time to do so? The fact that we were not told you were changing from a hotel to a B & B. Also that the cook whoever they are managed to ruin excellent ingredients, the raw foods seemed fine but whoever cooked them did not cook them properly or well and then let them go cold to boot. Not good at all. Far too dear for what it was.

the location and the gardens were lovely.the town and the people were all very freindly and helpful and it is a quiet relaxing break. The only thing which spoilt it was the breakfast on the last day,we felt as if we were being rushed out of the dining room,we thought that it let the hotel down compared to the breakfast we enjoyed the day before.

The staff at the Dial House could not have been more welcoming, on arrival we were upgraded to an attic room which was warm and very clean. The gardens were lovely and there was an open fire in the lounge area. The location of the hotel is very central with lots of eating places around.

Excellent hotel, very friendly, very helpful staff (they couldn't do enough for us), and comfortable rooms. The main house was very characteristic and old, but the Coach House was new, but beautifully fitted out. We were upgraded (without further cost) upon arrival at the hotel - we did not ask for this! When extending our stay, we were upgraded yet again! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Not all the bathrooms have full shower cubicles, those that don't have a shower included within the bath, but for those who find getting into and out of baths (especially roll-tops - high sides - my partner is only five feet short!), this proved difficult. The hotel does not serve dinner, although, that said, there are plenty of places within the immediate area where one can eat, so it doesn't pose a problem. 5* breakfasts served though!!!!

The location is excellent in the centre of the Cotswolds. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Much too expensive for a small room with hardly any room to hang your clothes and no shelves to put sweaters and t-shirts.

The bathroom was really nice with a very powerful shower and the room was lovely and warm which was very much appreciated after long country walks considering it was snowing outside! The location is perfect and there are lots of lovely restaurants and pubs close by. The bed was soft but that is very much down to personal preference. For the price we were surprised there was no sky.

1)Coach House ground floor room was good as we had our dog but ....( see " didn't like" ) 2)Good hearty breakfast 3) Ideal central location for village 1) No dinner facilities on site 2) The garden looks secure .....but isn't !! Our little darling lab staged the great escape ( suggest fence should be extended to back wall ? )
