Wonderful tapas restaurant. Staff were friendly and very helpful. This was a great find for a lovely family reunion.
Great breakfast. Room was huge, warm, comfortable and quiet. Convenient for train station.
Bathroom was a bit small
Whilst going there for the Liverpool Santa Dash the hotel was very accommodating to our needs. For example our early exit in the morning meaning we would miss the breakfast time yet they happily gave us some sandwiches to take with us for the journey. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and very spacious, got everything you need in them. The hotel had a great atmosphere, was very busy in the bar and restaurant, would definitely stay here again.
Service excellent, room very good. Food very high quality. Evening meal is a must !
Staff very friendly and efficient. Excellent breakfast Bar facilities very good All roumd a very pleasant stay.
Bedroom slightly cramped but only slightly. Next time we will book a bigger room with king size bed We had this room as we booked late and it was only one left. Did not spoil our stay. We will book earlier next time
The food in the Pesto restaurant was very good and the place had a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly. My room was small but had everything needed. I will try and book this hotel again when on business in this area. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order.
Extractor/fan noise from outside, not sure what it was but I heard it very early in the morning.
Room was clean and comfortable, pleasant small comfortable lounge area for residents. Restaurant very good. Service was also good.
friendly staff good room appreciated the bath in a single room. liked the range of dishes available in Pesto restaurant. Very good value for money and I would stay here again
I would have liked a blanket in the room as the shiny cover slipped off the bed. Toast would have been appreciated with the breakfast at no extra cost.
Extremely clean, warm and welcoming with attentive staff in excellent surroundings. Room was excellent and a very comfy bed. My overall score for this establishment would be 9.5 with 0.5 being lost for the food style.
Only down point was the way the food is done - it is a 'mix and match' Italian serving 'small' portions e.g. 5 inch pizza. No good for a solo business traveler who wants a hearty meal. However, this is the only down part and I would definitely stay again.
Every thing, stayed a few times before and always enjoy it, good room, good shower, and great food and breakfast, and the staff are always friendly and helpful
Very friendly and inviting establishment, rooms were very good, food excellent. A very nice place to stay
The Restaurant, ist atmosphere and the breakfast menu choices.
I am writing this on behalf of one of our employees he has started to request to stay here, regularly and enjoys the restaurant
Pleasant location, nice atmosphere, good breakfast, very friendly, helpful staff.
I found the bed a bit hard although that is only my opinion. My husband thought it was great!
Free duly staff and good fodd
very smart décor, food excellent
noise from other guest you could hear from other rooms
All the staff are really friendly & very helpful.Great food, with quick service.Faultless stay,I would recommend to everyone.
I had no problems,at all.
Very friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was very good and very reasonably priced and service was excellent. The inclusive breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. The price we paid, £75, was fair and the bed linen and towels were clean.
The standard room which we stayed in (room 6) was quite small and in need of a little TLC . The bathroom was also quite snug, a large person would struggle to sit on the toilet! it also faced onto the front of the property so there was a bit of noise from the car park. This meant we had to keep the window closed which made the room quite hot and stuffy.
Staff excellent, food excellent, bed comfortable
Room 2 - bathroom design poor. Mirror over washbasin too high, no grab handle for access to over-bath shower. Loo seat could not stay in upright position due to toilet flush handle.
The friendliness of staff we will be visiting again next year
Staff very helpful. Our room was roomy, clean, lovely view. Breakfast was excellent. Wish we had another night so that we could try the Italian restaurant...menu and setting looked excellent. Cocktails to be recommended!
The hotel is near the Station. The staff are very helpful and friendly!! The room was lovely, clean and quite !! And the breakfast was excellent. I would defiantly stay there again!!! I highly recommend this Hotel.
We stayed for just one night having two rooms one for ourselves and another for our daughter after a wedding at Thornton Manor on Friday 29/8/2014. The rooms are spacious and comfortable as are the beds. There is everything you need in them including tea and coffee making facilities which are essential we think. We had breakfast there and found that everything was available to us and it was well cooked. The staff are helpful and went out of their way to help in any way they could if need be. We had no problems whatsoever and would certainly stay there again, we would recommend your hotel to anyone staying over that side of the river. We went to the Pesto restaurant earlier in the week and found the food was excellent besides being good value for money. Thank you to everyone at the Dibbinsdale Inn we look forward to seeing you again soon. Maureen, Patrick and Marie
