All of our stay
Room was recently decorated so was nice and bright and airy. Very clean. Vegetarian breakfast was good and staff were really friendly and helpful
Bathroom in room was very small.
Great location Good breakfast Friendly Staff
Car parking on street is at a premium. Steep stairs to upper floors
Walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Nice room with pleasant staff and good breakfast.
Room 1 next to the door can be a bit noisy at night with people coming in and out past 11.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean with extras including ironing board ! Breakfast great and able to pre book parking space. Fab location so central to lovely front, town and train.
Comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
Weather was fabulous. Cannot fault this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it was just as good as first time.
The staff were very helpfull and friendly the room was super clean the hotel is very close to downtown and the beach had a very nice stay
excellent staff. immaculate room. location breakfast excellent. evening eateries close by. easy access to beach &Tesco. email early for 1st dibbs on a parking space. but public parking close by. loved our stay and definitely will recommend and come back
friendly staff clean and warm
Family room was small Cooked breakfast not available until 7.45 poor parking provision Expensive for what it is
Friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to make your stay pleasant . Thank you
Shower did not drain away so slightly damp smell in room . However room and bathroom were both very clean .
Room a little cold
We were upgraded to 3 bed suite, which after cramped rooms on the continent, was a delight. Breakfast room was roomy and light, and breakfast itself was individually cooked promptly. Also hours available were great.
Thought the reception area could have been a bit lighter and brighter. Owner explained her theme, but we thought that first impressions are so important that it didn't work for us. A very minor issue which reflected not at all on our enjoyment of our stay.
Good clean comfortable beds - and a great breakfast
Bathroom was a little on the small side (in our room - others may be better) - and would have preferred a walk in shower rather than one in a small bath
All staff was friendly and helpful would stay again
The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and a reasonable price. Close to the beach and the town centre, but amazingly quiet. We will stay there again.
Parking is an issue. I had to move my car twice over the weekend, but it was all done with good humour and it really wasn't a problem. Some visitors may find this too much of a problem, if they are that way inclined.
Our room was superbly clean and comfortable and very nicely furnished. The bed was superb and the bathroom lovely with a great shower, both of which were much appreciated.
The only slight disappointment was that breakfast was served until 9am which was a bit early for us on a couple of mornings during our stay. We were in Exmouth for a wedding and a 9.30 or 9.45 breakfast would have been appreciated.
Flexible staff, very accommodating. Excellent generous tea making facilities.
Limited range of buffet food, but the Full English was good.
Very clean rooms friendly staff and the breakfast was tasty
Not very good parking
Location. External appearance. Breakfast, although some foods unavailable.
Cleanliness. Hand basin and shower in en-suite not cleaned on one day of stay, but they did fold the corners of the toilet roll (which was nice!) Carpet very marked and never vacuumed. Lounge and bar very brown and dark.
The room was perfect for an overnight stay. Although there was no evening meal facilities it was a short walk to find a pub or restaurant.
Limited parking at hotel. Reception staff gave me a sticker for free parking in a nearby council parking lot which was a five minute walk from the hotel.
very good price for the night. Near the prom. Use of public car park. Basis but lovely breakfast.
Shower curtain fell down. very hot so had windows open, a bit noisy from traffic at night.
Clean room Good breakfast
No Car park dingy reception
