It was conveniently situated for my requirements. It wasn't over expensive. Room was not serviced for our second day. Cups were left dirty. Tea/Coffee etc was not replenished. Lack of hot water from tap. Leak from shower cabinet. Toilet seat insecure.

The two young staff members were helpfull. Location was good for the town. The room and bathroom were not clean, and were not cleaned, or made up etc during our stay. It was cold and damp (the weather was bad for the time of year) but, some heating is needed in such wet conditions. I am sorry that I took notice of the general up-beat comments on the website, because that is not my opinion at all.I Thought the negative comments were from whingers - but they were correct! Won't be staying again.

It was cheap. They were not really set up to cater for residential guests. Although we'd ordered breakfast on-line none was available, though they did deduct this from our bill. Our room was not cleaned at all during the 3 days we stayed there.

The only thing that stands out was the friendliness of the locals in the bar. Being called a hotel is misleading. Its a small pub with 5 rooms. The rooms were directly above the pubs bar and noisey. The "en suite" was dark damp and dingy. I would not recommend this accomadation for families with young children, single or young couples, yes

Good location for touring local countryside by car or bicycle. Facilities good for price range. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Fair location in town; however see below. Weymouth's one-way system is a baffling maze. More information about hotel access on website would have been useful.
