Staff were very friendly Facilities are good.

The heat in the hotel was very uncomfortable, and made it difficult to sleep during the night.

The staff are wonderful..especially james! Its a relaxing hotel, anything you want, the staff sort. Thats why we keep going back.

We had to come home.

the dinner room and bar staff was excellent and the cabaret was very good. breakfast was very good.

the hall ways was extremely hot you couldnt breathe, rooms was the same had to sleep with window open full. evening meal a bit dissapointing.

It was clean

Didn't like the fact it was meant to be a family friendly hotel but it did not cater for kids at all, the entertainment was for OAP's not for family's and expensive for drinks etc. wouldn't go back to Blackpool.

we found it to be a very clean and comfortable hotel. towels were changed dailyand beds made and room tidied.. breakfast was very good too. we will definately go back.

Mattress. Price/value. Wi-fi had to pay for it which I didn't which was a big no no for me. Cost of wi-fi it is easier to go to next door pay for drink and use wi-fi. This aspect is an awful way of obtaining money.No excuse at all, cost to hotel say downstairs nil £

We found the bedrooms a bit too warm in the night.I couldn't open the window as it was locked.

Comfy room with a view, friendly, helpful staff, the pool and jacuzzi were a bonus - great value all round, and would definitely stay again.

friendly staff, meals & bar snacks excellent It was good to be able to book a smoking room we have stayed at the Doric before..

in our bathroom the toilet was up against the radiator which was extremely hot &we were unable to turn it down, a workman came to see to it but it was no better. we had to put a towel over the radiator to prevent us getting burnt.

Clean, large family room. Fab pool and hot tub. Breakfast and dinner lovely. Staff helpful and friendly.

whilst the public rooms were of a reasonable standard, the bedroom and bedroom corridors and especially the bathroom are in need of modernisation, disappointed with indoor "swimming pool" which is only 3 ft deep so not really suitable for anyone over 5' tall to swim in !! and the changing rooms, steam room etc were not that clean and needed modernising.

everything was really good,hav,nt got a bad word to say about hotel.everybody was very friendly including the guests.will be looking to stay again.

only had 5 channels on television

we liked everything about the hotel.On arrival even though we had not booked a disabled room for my wife who uses a wheel chair the reception staff found us a room that was perfect for our needs.All the staff at the hotel went out of their way to be pleasant ,polite and very helpful,and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating; the restaurant manager in particular made a real fuss of us and our children. We unwittingly arrived during a turkey and tinsel weekend but were accomodated happily and had a great time. There was lots of entertainment on offer and an indoor pool which we unfortunately, we didn't have time to sample. The rooms were enormous and spottlessly clean, with a family bathroom AND an ensuite. The tv was large and the childrens bunkbeds thankfully placed in a different room so we didn't disturb the children after they went to bed. I personally won't be staying anywhere else whenever I go to Blackpool from now on- excellent!

It was overpoweringly warm; but we just turned off the radiators and opened the windows.

fiendly staff ..clean ..tidy meals excellent......good value for money and in a good location .....enjoyed our stay !!!!!

Spa Facilities

Just a bit too far from the centre.

Family focused. The response to a concern. The pleasant atmosphere.

The reception staff , they could be more friendly. The dated environment.

Being told on arrival that there was a 3% charge for paying by credit card - do not recall anything being stated about this on the online booking form Breakfast not very special, bacon hard as obviously had been cooked well in advance of being eaten
