The area around the pub. Friendly atmosphere and the decoration was appealing, very tastefully done. Although there were few dwellings around, they were extremely busy. The prices were right and the food was excellent. I hope I answered your survey correctly as I don't know chinese but guess that the best was at the far end of the line.
The service from the staff was excellent - could not fault it.
I do prefer a memory foam mattress for comfort on the bed.
great selection of beers, ciders, friendly helpful staff, comfy room and bed,top notch food ,a pub for locals and visitors alike, would certainly stay again.woken by the sounds of the countryside spot on
paint work could do with a little TLC inside and out
Tv had no dvd player , no tv downstairs for sport
Perfect location for breaking our journey while visiting friends and family over Christmas. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and were shown to a very large room with a huge and comfortable bed. We had a lovely meal in the bar that evening and then a wonderful cooked breakfast the following morning. I can't fault anything about our stay. I would definitely recommend and will return if I'm in the area again.
Everyrthing, the staff, the, the food, the furnishings, and in particular, the cleanliness All in all a very pleasant visit, thanks to all.
Room, food, location and value for money ! !
Shame bar seems to wind down once food is finished, feel you have to leave as they were setting tablles for breakfast all around us. Had to retire to room By 21.15 !
Got a lovely "welcome" from one of the staff, who checked us in and escorted us to our rooms immediately. Loved everything about the Inn. Hope to go back, but you need a car for the location.
I'm only sorry i don't have a car. Otherwise i would be going back very soon!
The bed was fantastic The room is massive The breakfast is nearly as good as the Carvery, which is the best in the country!
Couldn't get any heating in the room although the bed was that warm and comfy it didn't matter that much!
Very good size room, which we were told was in fact the smallest they had. Spacious and comfortable room with first class bathroom facilities. A good, reasonably priced menu in the evening and a first class, freshly cooked full English in the morning. We would certainly recommend this hotel
Size of room good. No road noise in room. Carvery lunch very good.
Needs a new loo seat and shower rail and curtain. Breakfast disappointing - one sausage, one rasher, one egg, teaspoon of beans and half a disc of black pudding! TV too small for size of room
The Staff were really friendly and helpful especially as the postcode given takes you about 5 miles away and when we rang the directions given were spot on. The Selection of Real Ales was very good as well.
Pretty much everything. Food was excellent
A minor thing - the TV was a bit small for the room size.
really lovely atmosphere very friendly food was delicious at breakfast and evening meal
nothing to dislike about staying here
Comfortable room. Nice bathroom. Food was good. Pleasant staff.
The television was extremely small.
Excellent reputation for food
Great rooms, Great bed. Lovely friendly staff. Excellent Food.
Nothing negative to say.
Nothing to say but excellent from food to bedroom would recommend
Clean and well priced
Can't give a dislike
Friendly and helpful staff Very good food, both quality and amount. The rooms were spacious and tidy. The furnishings in the room were very good. Reasonable sized bathroom with a good shower and full-sized bath
Only a minor detail, but there was a relatively small amount of "relaxed " , sofa style or a not eating seating area around the bar area. something like that could act as a small lounge area for residents. Understandable, as being such a popular eating venue it seemed that every seat could be filled with a dinner, but worth considering as an consideration whenever the bar are is next refurbished or decorated
Modern spacious rooms. Great breakfast. Option of an evening meal. Easy booking system. No cancellations fees.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped. Carvery was excellent.
There was no area to sit and have a relaxing drink. The whole of the pub area was for dining.
Delicious breakfast served by a lovely smiling waitress every morning. Loved the fresh fruit salad. Good carvery and bar meals. Easy access from car park and were even helped with our cases. Big comfortable room with kettle etc and hair drier. Will return a.s.a.p.
The mattress on our bed in room 5 needs replacing as it wasn't comfortable being well worn so didn't sleep well. The duvet was 13 .5 tog. Too heavy for warm nights. A spare blanket would be a good idea as an alternative.
