Very quiet location, in the middle of the town, within walking distance from railway station, wonderful friendly and helpful hosts, nice and peaceful atmosphere, large room, great beds you want to stay in forever, great breakfast, clean and fresh room, perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Just one small thing: the light and the fan in the bathroom are activated by a motion detector. This is fine if you want to take a shower in the morning or before you go to bed, but not if you need to go during the night. And that is really the only thing.

Location , interesting old property ,lots of books and mags , good interesting breakfast with plenty of choice with real jam , chutney etc , very friendly and knowledgeable - peaceful mainly - nice bathroom

would have been happier with en suite bathroom - thought 65 quid for a single with separate bathroom a little bit steep - ok to have automatic lights but when they go off and on all the time while showering it feels a bit odd ! Slightly noisy from the drinkers across the street up to 12.30 but it was Friday night I suppose

We liked the fact that you felt like friends visiting someone's beautiful home. If you don't like period furniture, tasteful deco or traditional art work, fine china, real napkins go somewhere cheap and soulless as you will miss the point! Our breakfast choice was amazing from fresh fruit, every kind of cereal and wholesome with a cooked one if you are greedy. We opted for laverbread, cockles with diced smoked bacon on toasted muffins with scrambled eggs but I asked for an omelette which was huge fresh and very yellow. Home made granary toast white or brown and croissants and a selection of home made preserves and local honey were presented in cut glass containers. We felt like royalty! Our room was spotless and the beds comfortable with a Welsh blanket for comfort if cold. This is a town house and central for eating out and exploring. Jill & Michael are perfect hosts and very welcoming & dog Robbie a charmer.

That we could not stay for longer and had to leave.

Excellent location. Hosts incredibly welcoming and warm. Very nice couple. Breakfast was delicious, great choices of home made food, cereals, yogurts, fresh and dried fruits etc very well presented!

Just that the room can get a bit cold as the radiators switch off, but overall a very cosy room with good facilities.

Hosts were genuine. Place was nicely done up. Amazing what they've done fitting in a modern bathroom into an old building. Little things were looked into and anticipated - ultra clean towels and sheets, drinking water, candy. I had a nice stay.

The bathroom to my room wasnt attached to the room, but it wasnt a real problem as I was the only one using it. Other than that, it was all good!

Jill and Mike were wonderful hosts, welcoming us with tea and cake on all three days of our stay and making sure we had a roaring log fire on two evenings after days out in the rain and fog...the bedroom & bathroom were clean and comfortable and having a roll top bath was a luxury! Breakfasts were also lovely with a variety of hot and cold choices.
