An excellent bed and breakfast - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location (central, near pubs and restaurants but quiet). The rooms are a good size and well appointed. The shared living area is open plan and welcoming with warm fires, reading materials and games if required. Breakfasts are made from high quality, locally sourced ingredients and home-made preserves.

The bedroom was luxurious and furnished to a very high standard. Obviously much thought had gone into its design. The entrance and reception rooms were spacious and elegant. Our breakfast was better than we have had in most hotels. The owners were relaxed friendly and helpful. We had a reasonable evening meal about a hundred yards walk away across the square.

This is a comfortable small country town b & b with a welcoming lounge with log fires. We were given tea and cake when we arrrived on a very wet Saturday afternoon : nice touch. The rooms are of a mid to high standard with spotlessly clean white bed linnen. Breakfast was very nicely cooked with a good choice of menu options. The people who run it are efficient and nice to talk to. Our room was facing the town square and on that particular Saturday night there was quite a lot of late night noise from people presumably going home after a night on the town. There's not a lot that the b & b can do about this but it was a bit off putting. You also need cash to pay the bill as they do not accept credit cards.

A warm welcome with tea/coffee and home made cake. A very nice room, vert comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Excellant cooked breakfast, toast with home made jams and marmalade. Own front door key to come and go as you please. We stayed two nights with our Daughter and Grandaughter. When we are next in the area, and it,s a long drive from the south Coast, we will certainly try and book The Drovers again.

Liked the location, charming little town located in relatively close proximity to a lot of worthwhile sites. The B&B itself is well-located right on market square in Llandovery with several eating options a few steps away. The room was quaint, but comfortable. Minor issue with toilet in our attic room and bath.

The owners Mike and Jill were so welcoming, the location was great, the pub a few doors away was great and the rooms were immaculate! The location and closeness to the Black Mountains was most important for us and it was so easy to get to the start of our walk. The cockles for breakfast - that was my own personal taste! The rest of the breakfast was absolutely lovely, especially the full welsh and Jill's vegetarian cakes!

The location was good and the room was nicely decorated and comfortable, breakfast was nice and tasty. The owner/host appeared slightly miserable and we felt frowned upon being a young couple. Although not as young as we look!! They did seem slightly stressed by having the 4 grandchildren
