Very friendly. Good atmosphere. Good food.
Noisy extractor fan and small sink in bathroom.
Very comfortable bed was most welcome after our first day on the West Highland Way. The friendliness of the staff. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Central location. Close to our walking trail (the WHW).
Everything was nice. Comfortable bed, nice staff, good food. We arrived late and they were still willing to cook us some dinner:) It is a perfect location to discover the east side of Loch Lomond.
The food, breakfast and dinner in the pub amazing, location, how tidy the room was.
Our room was right above the bar, people drinking and shouting until midnight every night during our stay, not ideal. Because of this I have not recommended it as it's not ideal when you want to go out and about and do stuff. We where tired all through our stay and this made our trip less enjoyable.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern.
Guests using the outside bar area kept us awake until 12 am with their noise. We were walking the west highland way so needed some sleep. Maybe the hotel could supply ear plugs. These seemed to be supplied in other places we stay due to the same type of situation.
Helpful and pleasant staff.
Conservatory floor had not been swept before breakfast was served so was quite dirty. We ordered a sandwich for lunch but when we returned after midnight, the plates had not been taken away.
Attentive Service and Facilities as advertised
Decor of bedroom & friendliness of staff.
En-suite bathroom clean and modern but felt just a bit cramped.
Read the reviews and got what I expected. Superbly friendly staff, a no worries attitude and a great stay. Lovely food as well.
Shower was a little temperamental but otherwise everything was fine.
The room was ok, staff lovely and breakfast delicious
Shower was dangerous in terms of temp control, wifi advertised as free but no password or anything available, no towels available on arrival.
We received a very warm welcome. The facilities were fully explained. Our room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed an excellent evening meal and packed lunch.
The hospitality and warm welcome from the staff was excellent. The quality of food in the restuarant was outstanding as was the fresh cooked awesome Scottish breakfast. The room was beautifully presented, clean and very comfortable.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere in the bar and food was excellent.
friendly staff as we left before breakfast the packed meal provided was excellent easy to find as it was Commonwealth games week price for B&B was v reasonable
Electric shower couldn't get water temp to stay set.
STAFF AND FOOD BOTH EXCELLENT
Friendly staff - Food excellent. Nice comfy King size bed.
Deliveries at 3/4 am to shop opposite. Ask for a room at the back! Hotel room door REALLY creaky - not good when creeping out at 6 am!
All the staff were pleasant and welcoming, the bed was very comfortable and the large bath towels were a welcome change from the meagre offerings in some other hotels. The breakfast was good, freshly prepared and too much for me to eat. We had packed lunches from the hotel and they too were excellent, with a well filled sandwich on thick bread, just the job for climbing Ben Lomond
Staff was friendly and helful.Food was very good.
Very friendly helpful staff
no private parking
Super Staff, we let one of our bags and they helped us superb to get them back Take the Scottish breakfast!!!
Nice restaurant, good food and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Room a bit small. Thin walls, you could easily hear your neighbour.
Very friendly reception on arrival and service throughout. Also, a great location on the West Highland Way
Live music... flexibility of management friendliness good food
breakfasts not offered earlier than 8:30
good central location in Drymen, a popular first day stop along WHW. Close to a SPAR supermarket, and generally good service. Liked all the staffmembers I met there.
I unfortunately and unknowingly chose to stay during Drymen Show day which attracted quite a few noisy, boisterous dudes in the bar below the living area. I had to use ear plugs to sleep. The rooms being above the bar could be susceptible to noise below, although how much noise is present depends on the occasion.
