The place was clean, walking distance from Sherwood Forest and cute downtown area. Staff was very nice. If we ever go visit the area again we would consider staying again.
The old world feeling in the hotel was great. The room was a lovely size and comfy. Breakfast was great.
Only downside was that the bed was a bit lumpy. Nothing else.
Staff here were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. Bedrooms were clean and tidy. Nice to have tea and coffee as well.
The Green Emergency exit lights above the bed. Really disturbed my sleep!! Don't really think there needed to be 2! Bathroom could do with repainting, grenades it seem so much smaller!
Location and welcome excellent.
Needs some tlc and a good spring clean.
room was large and had original features nice full breakfast in the morning included in price modern bathroom
ridiculously late check-in (4pm) rude member of staff on the phone told me if I had wanted to check-in any earlier I should have booked the night before aswell!
the staff were great the food was good the rooms the rooms were a bit on the smaller side. the food was great and the dinner staff were exceptional very thoughtful and more like a five star restaurant
probably had my worst night sleep on our 18 day holiday the view was of the high top roof and the rooms very hot
Service and price
Great location for what we needed. Great breakfast. Ample parking. Clean, good size room.
Saniflow toilet which was constantly noisy and smelly. Dark bathroom. Tiny shower.
Room was rather cramped.
Location Friendliness of the staff Free parking and Wi-Fi Good value for money
Noise isolation Uncomfortable mattress
Location, food, easy going nature, helpful staff, friendly locals, large car park, handy for village centre.
Not much to dislike. My single room TV had poor reception, but we were not in Edwinstowe to watch TV so it did not matter
No air conditioning
Cleanliness poor Noise from outside generator all night. Decor in landing area dark and grim No phone in room Cheap furnishings
Staff, breakfast and restaurant food
Room was tired and in need of updating.
Restaurant & Wi Fi
Staff could be more friendly
*staff excellent (with one exception sunday evening barman), *breakfast staff brilliant, so bubbly *ambiance of the place was lovely, *food really good, breakfast, had lunch & dinner with friends on monday who met up with us during our stay, good value, good food * comfy beds, * exceptionally clean will probably come again
*bar man sunday evening, poor, we had returned from a long traumatic trip to see family wanted to order evening meal at 20.04 told us kitchen closed, turns out the information sheet in our room was incorrect, feel his attitude could have been better, went to the pub where we had attended a wedding reception saturday, they too had closed but opened up their kitchen for us! *on the other hand the bar man monday was exceptional!! he took our complaint on board and could not apologize enough and would rectify the paperwork in our room *the room was very small, unable to get round the bed * toilet didnt flush properly
Great food, lovely place, fantastic location for centre parcs spa and sherwood pines cycle trail also did segway at clumber park hotel just 5 mins drive up the road was a brilliant weekend would definatly stay there again

The staff and food was great, the bed very comfy.
The decor in my daughters room was very poor, window cracked and wallpaper ripped.
friendly staff good breakfast perfect location for the wedding
We liked the hotel, the area, and sherwood forest, this was the venue for the wedding, we came home very pleased, your hotel was brilliant, well recommended for the area.
All was ok , no need to comment.
The hearty English breakfast and cheerful staff first thing in the morning.
When we arrived, we asked for a quiet room (prebooked). The room was pokey, small and décor "tired". Windows broken and/or stuck with duct tape. Ensuite - toilet roll holder broken, shower head holder broken, toilet dirty. We asked the check-in male on duty for some peace and quiet as we had been on the road a long time and we were very tired, but when we attempted to settle down for a sleep, the big fans from the kitchen immediately below us were buzzing constantly (as they did all through the night) and because of redecking the area below our window, there was men shouting and talking, banging of hammers as they dismantled the old deck, shovels scraping as they cleared up the messes, and a skill saw cutting up lengths. It was also very hot and stuffy and only one window on one side could be opened. All others were jammed and painted shut. So no, it wasn't "a quiet room" - far from it. And we got very little sleep then or later. We actually wondered if the check in guy was having a laugh at us, because it had to be the noisiest place in the building! Dukeries do not listen to their customer's requests, and no, we wouldn't go back there, nor would we recommend them. No way. Quite the opposite in fact.
Friendly, helpful staff and very good meals.
En-suite macerator a bit noisy & smelly.
Good friendly service. Good food
The bathroom was too dark and the shower was tiny.
Friendly staff, good choice on Menu.
Excellent service and location
Wifi not the best
