Reception poor. No heating, considering awful nigh. Windows rattled, no suggestion as to how to stop rattle or change of room.
we had a really lovely welcome, David was really friendly and helpful and we look forward to returning and eating in the bar next time too!
Excellent bed & food. An all round friendly experience.
No electric shaver point in bathroom
Very friendly and opened restaurant especially for us after it had closed and was lovely food
Beautifully restored pub in a fantastic location only a few mins from Bristol airport yet in a peaceful village. Staff both friendly, welcoming and professional John and Dave are the ultimate hosts. Food is superb.
Staying only one night
Fantastic views over the city of Bristol.Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.
Everything, food, accommodation, room size, friendly staff etc really good.
As it was a hot day and night, it would have been good to have a sheet as well as the duvet. Some info on local walks, etc would been a nice addition too.
Accomadation was quaint ,clean and reasonable sized room. food was cokked to perfection and well presented, recommend any of the dishes on the Al Acarte Menu, especially the Brisket of Beef. The owners David & John make you so welcome and work hard to maintain the pubs high standards. All in all a lovely pleace to spend a weekend.
Nothing really to complain about.
Nice food, lovely location
Too expensive, not to close the pub when it's supposed to be open
The room was tastefully furnished, very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful and the food was excellent. I will definitely stay there again when I am back in Bristol.
Welcoming and comfortable, with lovely food and so close to Bristol Airport.
The food is really excellent!! Dining at its best. Close to Bristol Airport. The Breakfast is ready in your room if you have to leave early.
The room was very individual in style and had the most comfortable hotel bed and quilt, one of the best night's sleep ever in a hotel. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent. The whole experience was a good start to our holiday before flying from Bristol airport the next day. The owners were particularly welcoming and helpful.
Some additional lighting would have been nice in the bedroom by the dressing table area.
Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. Beautifully appointed room with thoughtful complimentary continental breakfast. Lovely meal in the restaurant. Top notch all round!
Hosts made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautiful and very clean, and the bed was ever so comfortable. We had dinner at the pub, which was absolutely fantastic and all the staff in the pub were very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, so I would recommend eating in! For a short stay mostly recommended.
Lovely staff, modern decor, handy location for stopover. We were at a wedding nearby. Top quality gourmet full English breakfast.
very welcoming clean good wifi good food good value for money
the food, the staff, the location. Ideal getaway for a couple. 200 yards from open fields, public footpath access
Extremely friendly staff, very nice place and the surroundings are beautifull. The food is also very nice, I had just a small dish (mozarella).
Dave is a great host, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Inn was clean with good size room and bathroom. Fresh milk was provided rather than longlife milk. Dave is an excellent cook, breakfast was sensational and the meals the night before were great. Close to airport, but no noise.
We couldn't stay longer.
The owner was very helpful and friendly as well as the bar staff. We were traveling on an early flight from Bristol airport so wanted to stay close. Our dinner was fantastic. I had the braised beef and my other half had the gammon. Because they are on a room only basis (pub closed for breakfast), they had muesli and yogurt along with juice in a fridge for us. We were very pleased and will stay again.
Everything. We were told check in was 3pm, but we wanted an earlier check in as we were going to a wedding. This was no problem, and our room was available an hour before the original time specified. Large, comfortable, quiet room, beautifully furnished. Breakfast was provided in the room, with a small fridge with plenty of fresh milk, orange juice and muesli available. Sadly we only had time for a snack lunch, but the menu looked very inviting!
Not a criticism, more a suggestion - I would have liked decaff coffee on the hostess tray.
We loved our stay at the Dundry.Great hosts and facilities. Some of the best food we had in the UK
This is a lovely village pub in beautiful surroundings and a very short drive from Bristol airport. There are only 2 en-suite rooms but they are very tastefully furnished with a 'boutique hotel' feel - perfect for a short stay. The food is excellent, so I would recommend eating in!
Everything was lovely - no complaints at all.
