The owner was very nice and friendly, the lady who served us breakfast was very polite and accommodating too.. The breakfast was great, it may not be a 5star quality, but I would recommend it for family, as it's close to the town centre, Robert burns museum and the sea shore.... Good value for money too....

the location, for shopping Our room was located beside the main front door , disrurbed by others going out and in. our cups on the hospitality tray were not washed after we had used them on our first night. the second night they were taken away but not replaced. The breakfast menu had grapefruit and orange segments on it but were never put out. the holder for tooth brushes in the bathroom was dirty from other guest use. wouldnt stay again.

I was at a wedding for the day and The Dunn Thing allowed me to book into my room earlier to drop my overnight bag off and get ready. I then came in when I pleased as a key was given to me. I slept in a very comfortable double bed, whilst my partner took to one of the two single beds as he had had too much to drink and we fell out. In the morning we had a shower in our en suite very spacious bathroom then made our way to the dining room where we tucked into a cereal and orange juice while a delicious cooked breakfast was being prepared. All of this was washed down with a pot of tea. Sheila was a very nice lady as was the young girl who served the food and got the TV working. I would stay again if I needed to. It was a very pleasant surrounding in a nice quiet area of Ayr which was close enough to the town if you fancied a night out there. A five minute drive in the opposite direction takes you into the countryside where some spectacular views can be found. Thankyou
