Comfortable room with en suite. Had lovely clean towels, hairdryer, TV and tea and coffee tray. We liked the powerful shower. Had a good nights sleep and enjoyed a full English breakfast the next morning. Landlady gave us a parking permit so that we could park outside the B & B. Would stay here again, very good value for money.
Non-business hotel nature. Comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Good communication with staff and wonderful breakfast options. Wifi, TV with good channel options. Lots of character. VERY quiet area and room. No sleep noise at all. Proprietor is very personable and friendly.
Parking is a bit challenging, but not bad. The bathroom is a bit small, but was not in the room very much anyway.
Friendly, clean and comfortable spot. Loved it. Kippers for Breakfast, just perfect! David Henderson
Breakfast was excellant a wide variety
The room was a bit on the smallside
good food and more than enough. very friendly staff
The lady that runs it did not make you feel very welcome. Showed you to your room and left. I had a very unconfirtible stay with my 11 year old son. It's like she doesn't like what she dose and only dose it to pay the mortgage. When I asked Mrs dun about the Internet she was very rude. Won't stay here if you what to feel welcome. And definitely wouldn't stay again
excellent breakfast. comfortable spacious bedroom with all the necessary modcoms.
The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location to get into Glasgow via the train for the Commonwealth Games.
Gorgeous breakfast :-)
The owner was very friendly. Let me in before the booking in time and gave me key and parking permit. She offered to get up early to make us breakfast (we declined) but the offer was there. Room was spacious.
Clean and comfortable. Rooms tastefully furnished. Excellent breakfast. Close to station.
Although dogs are allowed in rooms, they are not allowed in breakfast room which was a bit inconvenient as we could not eat breakfast together. This should have been explained at check in, and NOT in breakfast room the next morning when asked to remove the dog from the room in front of other guests, which was a bit embarrassing and un necessary. Why allow dogs for 'bed & breakfast' but not allow them for breakfast??
An aged traveller 83 carrying big suitcases upstairs was a little difficult.
The location was close to the beach and the downtown. Nice room; Sheila was very helpful and served a good breakfast.
Warm and friendly. Enjoyable stay and nothing was to much trouble.
Idea location, Mrs Dunn was very accommodating would return again.
Sheila was very friendly and welcoming and never complained when our dog started whining at breakfast! Nice rooms, lovely breakfast and great location.
Shiela Dunn who owns & runs the B & B is a lovely lady who makes you feel right at home. As she offers bed & breakfast, her breakfasts are wholesome & you get a choice too. Her diningroom has photos of her family so you feel "at home, away from home".
