Travelling Light Apartments @ The Edge  

The building, the apartment, the location and the telephonic help from the owners were satisfactory.

There were minor niggles: (a) unfriendly building concierge, (b) shabby bathroom, (c) chipped and discoloured crockery and (d) stained bedside carpet.

Having to telephone when I arrived and to be spoken by someone that did not speek good english, to be told I had to bring id I never saw anyone

The spacious room from which one could come and go as pleased. The shower room was a delight!

Such hassle from Lady owner after I asked if it was possible for my daughter to stay, I.E. was that possible if she decided to join us? I was told it would be another £50 as she had to hire in a bed and she needed notice, or another £35 if she stayed on the settee (for extra cleaning). As I truthfully didn't know if she was staying or not I said 'no'. I was hassled with phone calls asking if she was staying. In the end I told my daughter to stay elsewhere (a well known budget hotel in the area wasn't much more and I was wishing I had booked in there too). When we eventually arrived - very poor instructions to collect the keys - all verbally on my personal mobile which I didn't like. The apartment didn't appear to have been vacuumed and a large put up bed seemed to have a permanent home in the wardrobe, so I have a feeling someone wasn't telling the truth!!!! Very poor experience!!!!
