Position excellent. Bedroom spacious. Breakfast was most adequate. Main weekness was the bathroom - no extractor nor window and poor lighting. Poor lighting in the bedroom. Dressing table mirrors are to low - good for midgets. poor lighting in the bedroom. Good for overnight stay.

Nothing although it is handy for theatres, WinterGarden, promenade and not too far from centre of town Building and contents shabby. No staff and the lady whom we saw was very unfriendly. Room on the top floor was very hot unless windows were open and then very noisy. The room was small with poor lighting. There was however a television, kettle biscuits etc. Previous reports raved about the breakfast and the friendly owners. They were absent and the breakfast was adequate. The young lady who saw us when we arrived, laid out the breakfast and took my money was very pretty but ignored all guests at breakfast and was not at all pleasant.

The position of the Hotel was right next to the Winter Theatre where we wished to be and very close to free parking areas.Service and friendliness were both excellent as usual The only very slightly annoying thing was the lack of a comfortable armchair to relax in whilst watching tv.

Location It was Ok for a conference. Room was a twin but would have been exceedingly tiny for 2 people. Shower was a nightmare either becoming so hot a burn was a distnpinst possibly or freezing cold all with no warning! I had booked a room only as it was last room available but was very surprised when arriving at the hotel to be hold breakfast wasn't available to order as they didn't have enough covers!! The worst carpet in the tiny ensuite!

Close to sea front. Friendly welcome by owner. Breakfast room was pleasant with choice of Cereal, Yogurt, and Full English Buffet Breakfast. The room we were given was too small just the width of the area above the entrance hall. Other rooms were probably bigger but we were probably given this small room as we were only staying one night and the rest of the hotel was full.

The new bathroom was amazing, and the room was comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and breakfast extremely accommodating. I would improve the shower, and possibly change the television to one with freeview.

The hotel was good for the money we paid, however if we had paid an extra £5 at another hotel 5 mins down the road we would have had a much better stay. The bed were extremely uncomfortable, the hair dryer didn't work, the bathroom was lovely and the whole room was very clean and very warm which is what you like on a cold winters evening! Overall 5/10 could do with a lot of improvements. The staff were fantastic 100% for customer service.
