The Elms Hotel

The Elms hotel is an impressive Grade II listed building set in beautiful grounds in the historical market town of Retford. The hotel provides an excellent base for visiting Nottinghamshire, Sherwood Forest and Clumber park, all just a short distance away. Robin Hood Doncaster/Sheffield airport is a 20-minute journey by car.

The Elms is a well pointed hotel and function venue. All 16 en-suite bedrooms have colour televisions,tea and coffee making facilities, and are non-smoking. The hotel includes a lively bar area, and informal dining room- with a traditional British Fayre Menu.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served between 07:00 - 09:00 Monday to Friday, and 08:00 - 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

The pub serves food all day from 12:00 - 22:00, and the bar is open from 10:00 - 23:00. The pub menu is traditional British fayre in style and contains a wide selection of dishes and snacks. An array of beverages are also served in the bar, and the pub has numerous activities - including special events - to entertain its guests.

The hotel has Single, Twin, Double and Family rooms available, rooms accessible for wheel-chairs, and two recently refurbished Premier rooms for that special occasion. There are 8 rooms in the main building, and a further 8 rooms in a converted stable block.

The hotel is situated on the edge of Retford Town Center, ideally located 20 minutes from the M1 and only 15 minutes from Robin Hood Airport. Nottingham City and surrounding tourist attractions which include Alton Towers and Sherwood forest are only a stones throw away. The hotel is set back from the main road into Retford with large and beautiful grounds.
