The Ethorpe Hotel by Good Night Inns  

Ease of check in, car park and free wi-fi. Very pleasant receptionist who was extremely helpful. Price- excellent value!!

Location to train station; friendly staff; good food.

We stayed for one night with 3 children aged 4, 7 and 9. We had a lovely meal in the evening.... One of the best meals I've had. The staff were brilliant, very helpful, and catered for all of us perfectly. The room we stayed in was a family room, which was comfortable and very clean, Gerard's cross as a town was also a lovely place. Thank you Ethorpe Hotel!!!

Helpful staff.

Room lighting so poor it wasn't possible to read a book or newspaper. Bathroom badly in need of updating - loose taps etc and you would need to be a gymnast to reach the toilet paper whilst sitting on the loo.

I liked the location, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean, nice breakfast, the was a friendly place to meet friends. I liked the pate entree.

The food in the Restraunt could be better, I had a steak it was a bit tough and pretty tasteless.

Room was very comfortable. Pub was OK.

- Bed rather soft - Noise as someone's key to get in their room did not work and work us up - Tap dripping and not easy to stop

everything, great staff couldnt fault the service, and helpfull staff who went out of their way to accomodate my requests,

The room/bathroom was not well maintained. Washbasin tap very loose, shower soap dispenser fell off wall, toilet very dirty under rim, window blind didn't work

Check out staff rude and not polite. Not even a good morning or sorry to keep you waiting. No smile and she looked like she did not want to be in the job. Rang for some juice for the children and she said i had to come down for breakfast. I said I don't want breakfast and her tone was very harsh. There was no drinking glasses in the room and no drinks for the children in the room. Would not recommend this hotel

Bedrooms very poorly lit - impossible to see to read at night. Needed a comfortable chair - plenty of room for one in the room. The "squeezy" type soap which is always hard to get out of the container and container coming away from the wall.

Car park noise late at night. Other room noise, bathroom fans made a terrible noisr up and left and right. Heating/cooling unit in room came on in the middle of the night and sounded like a jet taking off. Dirty juice glasses at breakfast, all of them. Bathroom tired with dirty skirtings and sink foot. Not an executive room at all and not worth the cost. Paid less and got better but of course paid more and got worse.

Low lighting in bedrooms unable to read at night. No handrail on ground floor stairs to bedrooms.

Friendly & helpful staff, rooms were excellent, food & drinks reasonably priced. Felt really welcome

Iron had no stopper so water ran out soaking clothes. Ironing board had previously been burnt through and frame where burnt had gone rusty making ironing difficult

The hotel was great value . Staff were great . Bed was comfe . Food was great .

We didnt stay lomg enough to experience facilities of the hotel. Only staying overnight.
