Friendly and efficient staff. Room very cosy and nicely furnished. Breakfast good. We were the only guests that night and the restaurant was closed and the bar empty, however we were in Brigg for a celebration with friends and just needed somewhere to sleep over. Rooms are outside around a courtyard which is nice but it was dark when we arrived and there was no external lighting - we had to fumble our way up the steps with our bags and struggled to find the keyhole in the dark. A light activated by sensor would be a good improvement.

Location was right for my purposes. Easy access even at the dead of night Very quiet location even though town centre Car parking rather limited because of the layout of the former coaching inn Lighting poor for access to rooms at night Digital TV service somewhat limited (Freeview digibox didn't provide all Freeview channels)

Friendly staff. Decent breakfast but slapdash service. OK for short stay. Lacking professionalism and organisation. Some towels well beyond use by date.

Very comfortable room, great value for money, and very helpful friendly staff! Just 2 things... - Window in room would not stay open; - Cleaning room product smell in the main bedroom when we went to sleep, which was a little off putting as you can imagine.

Breakfast ok The room and the equipment in it were in unsatisfactory condition even for budget accommodation. I gave a list of the defects to reception on checking out.

The tv facilities were poor. Breakfast menu was limited. Cups were chipped. Towels were spotted with bleach marks and faded - gave a dirty feeling.

Idea and style of building, location and dining facilities. Bed linen was grubby and room was dusty and smelt fousty. Bought our own bed linen and pillows from Tesco. The milk was sour in the morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The room was uncramped and comfortable, if a bit old fashioned in style. It's a very central location in Brigg. It feels more like a motel than a town centre hotel: the rooms are in a courtyard separate from the main building - with no lights on the very steep stairs, which is positively dangerous; the restaurant closes at 8 and the bar was essentially closed when we arrived at 9.30.

Town Centre location with parking The room was not wery warm, storage heaters should have been thrown out with the arc. The beds mattress was very lumpy and the duvet very thin. My room was in an annex which when I arrived was being used as an urban playground by 3 youths. They were sent packing by the lady at the hotel but not a very pleasant start to the stay, litter added to the somewhat derelect feel of the place. Breakfast on Sunday was 9-10 which was too late for me. I travel all over the world and even on Sunday most hotels will start breakfast 730-0800. Some money was however taken off the bill.

Very close to where we needed to be. Room somewhat dated, bed small, and Bookings.com said rooms had flat screen tv - we had a small portable.

It was quiet and the 2 staff we met were nice Very dated and basic..... Probably 3* circa 1980 Sheets were so thin you could see through them Not sure the duvet was freshly laundered Bed had no mattress protector (Itched and dreamt of bed bugs all night) No telephone in room Kettle did not work and there was only 1 cup and 1 glass despite we were a couple. Extractor fan in bathroom was covered in dirty, greasy fluff. Sausages at breakfast has never seen any pork - they were mostly cereal and very cheap value sausages. .
