Very good,
Score from 163 reviews
“ The location was near the seaside and the town, and close to buses to Lyme Regis and other seaside areas. This is an interesting area geologically because of the very old cliff faces. ”

Staff were very friendly. The room was very clean - I suspect recently refurbished. The location was good for beach, local attractions such as Seaton Tramway Pecorama and Beer Caves. Locals friendly with the pub side having a reasonable selection of drinks.

Nice staff, good location. Was a bit noisy from downstairs--but it is a pub so shouldn't be a surprise. Seagulls sitting on the car, and pooping all over it. Beyond the control of the hotel/B&B but you did ask.

Friendly hostess and good food. Unfortunately the bathroom housekeeping let the other good features of this establishment down as the ceramic toothbrush holder and mug, and the soap dish were very dirty. The pedal bin also had a thick layer of dust on it. I assume the room had not been used for a long time.

Very clean Very friendly service. All the staff were excellent. Made you feel special. Good location Excellent food at all times. Good portions. A little bit noisey at night with people sitting in beer garden. Can hear loud talking. Window not open. Accomodation little bit dated although the room had been recently decorated. Strong smell of paint. May be do a child's cooked breakfast as a bit too large.

The staff were all wonderful, and the food excellent and very good value. The location was perfect for our event at 'The Gateway' and it was great to be so close to the sea, even though the wind was freezing! I especially appreciated Rachel's kindness in helping to organise our booking. Seagull-poop on my car :-) and if I am being really critical, the mattress and pillows on the double bed in Room 9 could probably do with replacement. They were perfectly clean, but lacked a bit of "bounce". Also, the free WiFi does not reach up there.

The Eyre court was situated conveniently close to the venue I was attending and close to the seafront. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the price was reasonable. The breakfast choice was excellent. My wife and I both look forward to staying there again in the future. There was nothing that I didn't like.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Also the hotel was in an excellent position. The car park was quite small because of location and not easy to find the entrance when arriving.
