Bathroom was very small Some stains on bottom and sheet and for hygiene reasons I prefer to have a top sheet
Beautifully situated quiet b and b Set on a pretty farm with walks Great breakfast Friendly family owners
Sadly they don't take dogs, so that rules out my parents and in laws taking a holiday there. Also, I would recommend walking holidays around the summer time. The area is flat, meaning its very VERY windy and there isn't much shelter. Not great when carrying a 1 year old in a little life rucksack.
Along side the lovely owners, excellent local food and well proportioned room, I have to say that access to 2 large tourist cities more than made up for the initially awful weather that almost stopped us taking our planned walk. Despite there only being double/twin rooms there was enough space to put the little one in a travel cot without eating up all of the room.
Squeaky floorboards, disturbed our sleep. when guests in neighbouring room walked, our floorboards creaked.
Lovely rural location, peaceful & pleasant.
It's a bit out in the wilds
A nice large comfortable room, very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast (all local produce)
we arrived quite late 9.50pm. there was no problem. the owner was very helpful. great English breakfast
A little pet hate of mine, being a big lad i would prefer proper large bath towels, but only a trivial point, pretty much faultless otherwise.
Handily placed for visits to Liverpool, Southport and the surrounding areas. Great breakfasts, exceptional cleanliness. Friendly staff.
A bit off beaten track but also a bonus as a quiet night.
Comfortable and spacious bed. Lovely en-suite. Free WiFi and tasty breakfast complete with locally sourced black pudding. We would def stay again if in the area.
Family run business with firendly staff. A lovely relaxing stay away from our normal stressful life. Perfect location this is our second time at this beautiful farm.
We would have liked a better shower.
Friendliness of our hosts, good breakfasts with plenty of choice, comfortable room.
We booked via booking.com website. Owner called a couple of hours later to tell us that they had taken another booking over the phone "at the same time" from a regular visitor so they were unable to accept our reservation. Although it was a late booking for us I had spent a lot of time researching and so was very disappointed. She did offer to book me with another local B&B but I declined.
difficulty in finding the farm in the dark
the breakfast, the bedroom and the friendly, helpful staff
Flexibility and staff went out of their way to be accommodating, staff at breakfast were excellent, informative about the Farm, cheery and humorous, an asset to the business
warm welcome and excellent breakfast, no problem to find with sat nav and the bonus was the farm shop, quiet warm and cosy.
wi-fi did not work
clean and spatious room
Everything, could not find fault with anything.
Very poor tv reception. Unable to maintain freeview signal. Only able to get bbc1 for a short period.
Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Quiet location.
Very countrified. Quiet and peaceful. Staff excellent. A comfortable bed the size of a squash court.
Shower was huge but the spray was not very good.
Lovely friendly people, room was comfortable and the bed was so comfy.
The quality of the rooms and bedroom fittings are excellent. They even accommodated the cumbersome trailer
Family made me and my wife very welcome. Breakfast was a delight they even made better scrambled eggs than me. Within walking distance of Martin mere. And the local countryside just made our stay the perfect break.
