The hotel was clean.the staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn't like the noisy toilet which and the room we were given was very small, with no chair to sit in. We could hear the people in the next room's conversation and when they came in late it woke us up.

Closeness to the town centre. The breakfasts were very good.

Nothing really, limited street parking but paying car parks within close proximity.

Cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. Separated WC. Extremely good value for money.

Extremely small shower room. The shower door bumps into the room door !

Great big room with comfy beds. Very good value.

The noise outside from some unit kept me awake. Also bring your own shampoo.

VERY comfortable beds, very friendly, helpful staff! Very nice shower, great location. Note: there was a group of cyclists there one of our nights and the place seemed ideal for their needs, great beds, great showers, and great location to get back on the road the next day. :-)

Room was small, a bit tight to fit our luggage in, and stark. There has been a recent remodel and almost everything in the room was white with the exception of two small prints of flowers. Also our room overlooked picnic tables on the street and on warm evenings with the windows open, the sound came right into the room. It ended at 11pm so if you were out and returned then, it would be fine. Was just noisy for us as my mom is an early to bed person.

The Farmers Arms is a beautiful B&B/Pub. It is lovely decorated and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we booked was a 4 bed room with en-suite bathroom. The room was bright and clean with modern furniture and lovely little details such as pictures on the walls. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The pub downstairs had plenty of seating and TV available. The breakfast in the morning was superb. We are vegetarians and Gareth went out of his way to get us Quorn sausages for our breakfast in the morning. We only arrived at about 8.30pm the night before. All in all, a superb experience and would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful Pub in great location. Great food as well. Rooms lovely

It was summer and the white blinds with the street light outside do not make the room dark enough for good sleep. Suggest a dark curtain for night.

The Farmer's Arms was an enjoyable stay. It took us a while to find it but that was because of a biking event and roads were closed. We called the pub to find a way to get there and the manager was extremely helpful. We had reserved a family room for three and once we had signed in the manager graciously upgraded us to a better room and it definitely was a lovely room. It was clean, spacious, updated, bright and on the corner with a view of the countryside above the town roofs. The room had a comfortable queen size bed and a single bed plus a shower room separate from the sink and toilet room which is so nice for more than one person at a time to get ready for the day. We had been a little concerned about noise as we were above a pub but the doors closed at 8:00 pm so not a problem. Also thought maybe we would hear the traffic but when we went to bed we closed the windows and there was no noise from outside or our neighboring room. The staff was more than helpful and I would definitely recommend this B&B pub.

The only things I did not like were that the breakfast was not included, we paid for it, the shower door would not close without opening the room door first and the noise of the water pump in the toilet room. These are really minor in the whole scheme of things but you asked.

The hotel was close to the Borough Theatre and the town centre.

The room only had a wooden blind no curtains and it did not keep out the earlylight. The room was over the kitchen and the extractor fan contiually went on and off all night and was very loud as we had to have the window open as it was so warm
