Very nice man who runs the house. Very clean, comfortable and quiet.
A tub for soaking, hot cocoa to drink, and a warm bed to ease the strain of the miles.
Room could have been just a bit larger for the luggage.
Our very helpful host cooked an excellent breakfast - the room, although small was clean and nicely put together, with tissues, hospitality tray and toiletries all ot a good standard.
99% of everything.
1% of everything i.e. our room would have benefited from somewhere to park and unload a suitcase other than the bed....but I'm being picky when really there's no need!!
Breakfast was Best I've had in ages. Service was excellent and very friendly.
The TV could have done with being a little larger in the Lounge.

Bedroom not really 'deluxe' but fine for our needs
The owner was a very nice chap who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable - he cooks a great breakfast too! The town is lovely and makes a great base for exploring the Borders countryside.
There was no window in the Lavender Room, nor were there tea making facilities - didn't bother us, but may turn some people off.
The location was great, pub nearby. Very friendly and accommodating owners . Was like a home from home . Excellent food , excellent facilities . Will go again.
Excellent location in a small and quiet town which nonetheless has various local retail, dining and public transport facilities. Conveniently located for touring both southern Scotland and the rural northeastern corner of England. Very fine breakfasts.
the breakfast and the king-size bed wish I could have taken it home!!
Welcome was very good and all was done to be helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Bed very comfy .Nice bathroom.
No window to look out of. Skylight only .
Noisy plumbing with leaking tap
Great room, clean, nice clean ensuit, excellent breakfast, very hospitable reception from owner, no problems
Signage needs to be more prominant as others have said (went to the neighbouring b&b by accident on arrival).
very helpful and informative hosts
Very friendly welcome and helpful service. Fabulous quiet, location with two great pubs within 10 minutes walk. Very bubbly spa bath.
Our bedroom had a roof light rather than windows.

Excellent location for the Border areas and the Northumberland coast. Very pleasant hamlet with a good pub.
Room was small and TV was virtually impossible to watch due to the small screen and its height.
