Everything, Nick was an excellent host
Owner was very friendly, along with the other staff. Bar area was good and the breakfast was simple, but ok.
The whole B and B needs updating, in our rooms the window handles were all broken, the shower was rubbish and they all need new bathrooms. The one bathroom still had toothpaste on it from the previous people. The cups for the tea and coffee facilities were dirty. For £23 Per night, you get what you pay for, but you expect cleanliness.
great location and very good value for the money, also staff very friendly
Everything really plus great breakfast
Staff were very friendly couldn't do enough for you
Breakfast was okay and staff were friendly
They moved me from another hotel as they were decorating it. Then, 4 days into my holiday, they started painting empty rooms and left the doors open so the whole place stank of paint. Made me feel so ill I was sick and ended up going home early. Also, at no time did they have the heating on despite it being November.
Located in the middle of Foxhall Village ideal for many of the Blackpool "to do" sights, yet up a side road so not that noisy and had a good sleep each night. If you take the self-catering option there are a couple of nearby cafes at very good prices. Breakfast is available. Single room i was in had a sink and WC also TV and tea making facilities. If you need anything doing to your room just ask Nick or a member of staff.
no shower, you have to use the shower room. The "fire alarm" went off in the middle of the night one night and then at about six o'clock the next night too. I feel this was due to inconsiderate visitors deciding to take off the smoke alarms for a fag in their room and, of course, the system shows a fault and goes off. Might be worth while putting a notice in the room advising customers.
The room was very small and dirty, the bedroom wasn't cleaned the sheets were dirty!! we stayed there for 4 days and not once did the come and ask or change the towels, we have no extra coffee, tea ,milk etc.. during the stay, breakfast was ok but the service was terrible.
Very disappointed, shower was a dribble and freezing, the wifi was only in the main reception rpom and the staff two young boys serving breakfast in thd morning were rude not worth the money we paid at all
location, price, changed our room as original was too small for cot to be put up.
Was going to charge 80p for a second minature glass of orange juice with breakfast,(did in the end supply one free of charge), Dried sick found on the quilt in room 104, Enthusiasm from host was very minimal on arrival, did not seem very interested in us checking in
Bed shower room
Excellent staff, managers put them selves out to make you feel so welcome. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Excellent breakfast, close to sea front and we look forward to return in there. Cengiz & Dawn
Good fun will consider again for sure
The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful.
Rooms were small and in desperate need of an update especially the ensuites... It was quite a noisy place you could hear the other guests outside your room.
breakfast was good staff helpful and friendly
en suite in room 208 tatty could do with some money being spent on it toilet seat loose and no handle on inside door !!
Beds nice and comfy reaky was nice
Wii fii rubbish. Window wouldnt close bit cold i the night could hear alot of noise
Great location, friendly helpful staff.
Poor workmanship in the property. Poor tiling in the bathroom, holes in ceiling and poor fitted doors and locks.
location close to front and easy walking distance to tower etc
stayed mon to fri but no-one came into room at all so towel not changed, bin not emptied and tea, milk not replenished. The tea, milk complaint not much of a problem really, because I or we always bring our own. but the towel not being changed is a big problem. I will not stay there again.
Location. Friendly owner. Room good. Clean.
Was greeted by the barman who gave us our keys and told us that he doesn't know where our room is as its a maze up there. Couldn't open our bedroom door due to the bed being too close to the door, had to shut the door to let each other in the room. Room is very tired and needs updating! Didn't even attempt breakfast!
Excellent value for money, Breakfast was nice. Good central location. Staff were very nice and the bar area was comfortable they also had a fish tank.
Basically, the bathroom. It was quite desperate. Tiles need grouting and a few need replaced. There was a big step into the shower, which could be deemed dangerous. Wonky four post bed.
Loved the location...Farnborough could do with a bit of re vamping
Dining area is a bit tight..not a lot of room....
the room was very dirty, the bedding hadn't been changed, the hoover had never been round the room for god knows how long, the room was as small as a matchbox you couldn't even turn round in it,the toilet door didn't shut and there was no lock on it anyway, the place is very much in need of some serious tlc,the pictures look lovely of the rooms, but these are not the rooms you get,we only booked for one night but we would have been better sleeping in the car,all in all,it was appalling and we certainly wont be going back to this dump, advice for people is,stay well clear,it really is awfull.
Room was very small and not really children friendly
