made you feel very welcome and changed our room from the second floor to the first floor.
The hotel was very close to the center of all. Within a stones throw from the southern peir.
Room for the price was small and needs a huge renovation of the bathroom. Tea and coffee facilitys were poor.
Room was very clean and nicely decorated and had a new bathroom put in shower was lovely and clean
At night room was Abit hot but when we open a window it cooled down
Didn't like much at all. The breakfast was probably the nicest of the overall break.
Cleanness, rooms were dirty, bathrooms too. The sheets didn't get changed while there, the towels niether we had to ask for some. I didn't once hear a Hoover while I was there or even seen someone clean. The kids wasn't wanted either, he didn't like kids and couldn't wait to get rid of them but come on it's the holiday season that keeps them in a business!!
This is a budget hotel. If you want The Ritz, pay for The Ritz. The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. The bar is quiet and almost family like and not overpriced.
Can be noisy at night with the stag and hen groups returning from their nights out, but no disturbances while I was there.
The staff were very friendly and polite. Helpfull and a nice pair of ladies
The rooms were excellent good value and the situation was perfect for all amenities.
the owners quite helpful
if you want mouldy toast cold breakfast and noisy guests who wake you up at 3 30 in the morning no lift this is the place for you
I stayed with my young children and we were all made to feel very welcome.. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful.. The location was excellent.. We will hopefully be returning nxt summer in one of the holiday flats..
Moved to sister hotel down the road. Mold on bathroom walls. Staff clearly have not had any training.
owners were very nice and friendly and try very hard
not very clean
Good value for money and Nick and Si great
The friendly breakfast staff
Room was not in the best of upkeep. Bathroom door did not close and lock properly.
Nick was the perfect host, we enjoyed our stay at The Farnborough very much, thank you so much for making us feel so welcome :)
Bed was comfortable and breakfast was alright - staff were friendly - ok for a one night stay
The lack of cleanliness in the' en-suite' bathroom - the shower didnt look clean enough to have a shower
I liked the fact that there wasnt a time we had to be in by. And was provided with front door key to ket ourselves in. Staff were friendly. I would definitely stay at the Farnborough again.
The location is great but nothing good can be said about the hotel.
Unclean Tiny room Noisy Shouting from the manager in the middle of the night. Bedding looked disgusting and dirty Chipped mugs Freezing cold I could go on and on
The canopy bed is great.
There is something wrong with flushing the toliet
Shower room and toilet was dirty
Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Comfortable bed.
Room could have been a little cleaner
You get what u pay for here - cheap and cheerful but close to town centre. Had single room which was clean and tidy.
Breakfast very basic, beds very small, no shower in room and kettle did not work in room.
the breakfast was fine.the staff were friendly
the advert on booking.com hit our criteria but on arrival found it didn't.!!.it advertised free w.fi in all areas we had to sit on stairs to connect ,hairdryer in en suite not there.will not be doing a return visit and would not recommend.
we have stayed there more than once very helpful and friendly great hosts
We were gigging in Blackpool and only required one night. Location was great, good sized rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel if you intend on staying up to a couple of days. The best part was the value for money. For £50.40 between three people we couldn't ask for more.
The beds were quite hard and the room itself required some modernisation, new coat of paint perhaps and the bar shut quite early. Still didn't affect the quality of our stay though.
