The friendly and helpful staff, room decor, comfy bed, lovely view, nice food (we had steak and kidney pie and liver & bacon - delicious).
Parking was difficult due to its location, but the staff showed us where we could leave the car, albeit a fair walk away from the Fleece
Comfy bed Wholesome food Friendly staff Good selection of beers
Parking on street
The staff were all excellent. Helpful and (typical for Yorkshire) friendly. The room was large and comfortable, with a good bath/shower. Food was great and filledthe large plates. Beer excellent. Good value all round.
Small TV in the room, but I fell asleep after 5 minutes anyway.
This place was fab in the heart of everything we had a really Christmassy stay will tell all our family and freinds about this place
Friendly helpful staff Great food Wide choice of beers Very clean rooms Very comfortable beds, Mom wanted to take her's home! Great location. Great views from windows Nice friendly atmosphere
The bed was comfortable.
The bedroom was small overlooking a grimy alleyway. Generator was running until 12 midnight and started again at 6am so had little sleep. was told it would stop at nine. Complained as wanted a relaxing weekend not to come away to listen to a noisy generator. There was no other room to move us to,asked again in the morning as there were people checking out for us to be moved. First i was asked what noise as no one has complained before. No one offered to come and listen. again told there were no rooms available. So we checked out and will not be returning. Do not take the bedroom at the end of the corridor it is next to a generator.
Everything was fine, and location perfect for my stay
Breakfast and location were great.
Wifi didn't work, staff were sometimes a bit hostile. Wouldn't go again!
The Fleece in is situated in the Main Street of Haworth, minutes walk away from the Brontë parsonage. The Main Street today looks almost exactly as it would've looked during those days when the Brontë sisters lived here, minus the hordes of tourists (incl. us). Parking was provided and free. The room was amazing: very large and atmospheric, complete with rocking chair, a huge bathroom and a bed to die for. Haven't slept on a mattress that comfortable for a long, long time - pleasant dreams guaranteed! The breakfast was good and set us up for our lang walk to Top Withens in the rain ;) Would definitely come back!
As with a lot of places: bring a plug multiplier if you have phones, cameras, laptops, tablets etc. to charge, and bring a hairdryer with a long cord. There was only one plug in our room.
Had a warm feeling from the moment we arrived,Staff were friendly made you feel welcome,Food excellent, beds comfy, just a nice feeling to this hotel it was the best.
Not a thing

Location brill .excellent cooked breakfast .staff friendly helpful. Double room small .but clean .
Double room small .no view .back yard with ppies .couldn't get wifI in room .
The evening meal we had was fantastic. It was cooked well and we didn't have a long wait.
The breakfast must have been cooked by a different chef!! By comparison the breakfast was poor. Although there was plenty of choice the cooked breakfast fell below par.
The Staff and location
wish Id stayed longer
Area and historical connection with The Bronte family
Parking with no pick up facility had to carry bags to car at the bottom of the hill not far but had I known I would have used a wheelie suitcase.
As a solo traveller, I found the staff warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and the atmosphere in the bar very friendly. The location of the Fleece Inn is near the bottom of the main street, so gave me some exercise getting to the Bronte Parsonage!
This was a hotel, restaurant, and inn. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful and courteous. The breakfast was fine, but they certainly didn’t want us there early.
Hard to find despite phoning for directions. Parking for 4 cars only, and the road was packed with tourists, so we had to park in the town car park, partially unpack what we needed for the night, and walk down a very steep hill for several blocks – and up again the next morning! The TV was so small that we couldn’t see it from bed. We couldn’t figure out how to operate the shower. The internet didn’t work. I recommend the trip to Haworth if you’re a Bronte fan, but not this hotel.
The friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful and courteous throughout my stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower powerful and the room quiet - all I need to keep me happy in a hotel room!
Wifi was not available throughout the hotel as stated. Nor was the 3G signal very good - obviously this was not the hotel's fault!
Room , delightfully decorated cleanliness , spotless area .
no view, facing a stone wall smokers under the window. noise , ...ridiculouysly creaky floorboards which can be corrected. Pub noise but that cant be helped . food .. bland
Very comfortable room, lovely staff , very enjoyable dinner and a spot on breakfast.
TV in room 7. Would have preferred a larger screen.
Location- We like visiting the Bronte house and museum and enjoyed the moorland scenery
Everything was fine
