Double room small .no view .back yard with ppies .couldn't get wifI in room .
The evening meal we had was fantastic. It was cooked well and we didn't have a long wait.
The breakfast must have been cooked by a different chef!! By comparison the breakfast was poor. Although there was plenty of choice the cooked breakfast fell below par.
The Staff and location
wish Id stayed longer
Area and historical connection with The Bronte family
Parking with no pick up facility had to carry bags to car at the bottom of the hill not far but had I known I would have used a wheelie suitcase.
As a solo traveller, I found the staff warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and the atmosphere in the bar very friendly. The location of the Fleece Inn is near the bottom of the main street, so gave me some exercise getting to the Bronte Parsonage!
This was a hotel, restaurant, and inn. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful and courteous. The breakfast was fine, but they certainly didn’t want us there early.
Hard to find despite phoning for directions. Parking for 4 cars only, and the road was packed with tourists, so we had to park in the town car park, partially unpack what we needed for the night, and walk down a very steep hill for several blocks – and up again the next morning! The TV was so small that we couldn’t see it from bed. We couldn’t figure out how to operate the shower. The internet didn’t work. I recommend the trip to Haworth if you’re a Bronte fan, but not this hotel.
The friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful and courteous throughout my stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower powerful and the room quiet - all I need to keep me happy in a hotel room!
Wifi was not available throughout the hotel as stated. Nor was the 3G signal very good - obviously this was not the hotel's fault!
Room , delightfully decorated cleanliness , spotless area .
no view, facing a stone wall smokers under the window. noise , ...ridiculouysly creaky floorboards which can be corrected. Pub noise but that cant be helped . food .. bland
Very comfortable room, lovely staff , very enjoyable dinner and a spot on breakfast.
TV in room 7. Would have preferred a larger screen.
Location- We like visiting the Bronte house and museum and enjoyed the moorland scenery
Everything was fine
We stayed at the Fleece Inn for 4 nights as we wanted to visit Haworth and the Bronte Parsonage. The Fleece Inn is excellent value for money, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, in fact, the food in general was of a very good standard. Added bonus they had Rekordelig on tap! Would definitely recommend the Fleece Inn for any would be travellers.
We came to Haworth for a night out having a few drinks in some of the nicest, well established pubs, tasting local beers and eating in the Embers restaurant next door and it was an excellent stay over night. The staff at the Fleece Inn were very nice, welcoming and chatty, the breakfast was nice and the evening meals looked great. Would definitely return.
Although our room was comfortable and clean the room we had was at the rear of the pub (no.6) with only a small window leaving the room dark so the lights needed to be on through the day even though it was a bright clear day.
Room was great. Breakfast excellent. Real ales in great atmosphere. Great location.
Steep hill but that's Haworth for you!!
Ambience, friendliness, helpfulness, cleanliness, courtesy extras, excellent position for Haworth facilities, attractions, shops.Cuisine, selection of real ales.
Parking outside , unless you are off before 8.00 a.m ,is limited. As a late arrival,I was directed to the car park of another establishment about 200 yards away.(My luggage was cared for whilst relocating). Still, well worth the minor hassle for value received.
comfy bed, great staff
website says wifi is available, however it was not working during my stay and had not been working for a week prior to my arrival.
Perfect location, very comfortable stay. Great staff
You could park outside the hotel and it was in a prime location to go either up or down main Street
There was a motor fan running outside our room all night
Friendly staff made you feel welcome and made sure our stay way perfect.
Laid back Food Excellent level of service Comfortable Beautiful scenery and village
