Very friendly, helpful hostess and staff
Lovely room. Lovely quirky pub. Lovely grub. Lovely host. Perfect! Lovely continental breakfast
Would have liked a shower and more biscuits in the room. And maybe real butter with breakfast rather than sachets. But these little things would not put me off. Highly recommended
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The location was great, just outside of the center with parking available. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of fresh bread, fruits and preserves. Food in the pub below was excellent, home cooked, great value with large portions
Beautifully decorated room, friendly and helpful staff and we had a fantastic meal in the restaurant.
The rooms and common area were pretty and welcoming with very unique decorations. Breakfast (Continental, not English, but very generous and varied) was great, fresh and served with a smile. We had little complementary mints and biscuits too. The place is full of nice little touches.
It's located about 10 mins from the city centre, but not a problem if you have a car. There's parking on site too.
We liked the location with bus stop opposite & buses running every 30 mins. Our room was lovely with a large comfortable bed & tea making facilities. We chose the room with the freestanding bath that came in very handy for a soak after a day sightseeing & shopping in Bath. The owner & her staff were lovely & we had a most enjoyable stay.
Beautifully set out the bedrooms eating and dining areas were warm, inviting and luxurious. The menu and food was superb and the value was outstanding. I can't wait to go back and would recommend this idyllic B&B to anyone.
The decor is a wonderfully eclectic mix, but it all works. All comforts have been thought of, and both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and delicious. Louise, the proprietor,is so welcoming, and nothing too much trouble.
Teeny thing. Slightly larger bath towels, would be brilliant.
Quirky and interesting décor. Lovely breakfast which was far better than a full English. Our second visit this year and plan to return next year.
Having to leave!
Nice decoration Restaurant nearby Lovely staffs
Continental breakfast but loads of choice and very delicious.
Was happy with everything
This b&b is beautiful. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and the room was so cosy and comfortable. We decided to have dinner there the night we stayed and it was absolutely hands down the best meal we have had on our trip...thank you louise and staff for your beautiful hospitality!
Everything, perfect two night stay.transport to and from Bath excellent, would highly recommend for short stay.
Excellent beds. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Separate bathroom - knew about it but forgot dressing gown! Weather was cold and had no visible way of controlling heat in the room. Suspect if we were there longer and had asked, there would have been a solution.
bus no.1 as a shuttle bus is excellent, every 15mins. pass and to the hour into town for GBP4 as a daily travel pass.
Be aware that the last bus from town is at 11pm to Combe Down and not at 11.30 because although it is bus no.1 it will take you miles away on the opposite route. We landed in the Royal United Hospital and had to call for a taxi to get back.
My daughter & I enjoyed the warm welcome / comfort & gorgeous food during our stay. We had the bonus of leaving our car there & hopping onto a bus outside the pub to take us into town.
We thought the room could have been a little warmer, but I admit it was a bitter night outside.
Location, brilliant, bus service across the road into town. 10 min ride. Lovely Character of décor & rooms
Was hopefully looking forward to a cooked breakfast as it was a freezing day, but only continental style available.
Great accommodation, and only a 5 minute bus ride into Bath centre. The decor is shabby chic with a quirky twist and the pub is friendly and relaxing. The B&B is run by great people, they treated me to a birthday card and bottle of processco for my special day and packed us off with some banana bread on our departure. Always smiley and helpful, they have great knowledge of Bath and offered good recommendations on restaurants. So glad we stayed here instead of a faceless hotel. Excellent value for money.
We can hand on heart say there was nothing we didn't like.
Attention to detail and consideration toward guest was exceptional.
Location good with bus stop just across the road. Comfortable bed. No charge for car parking.
Very small car park. Cold bathroom. No cooked breakfast option.
Husband and I stayed for two nights and loved it. Great breakfast, lovely room and nice pub. Bath is 8 minutes by bus and it stops outside - much cheaper than parking in the city centre!
Friendly staff. Cosy, comfortable b & b with good food. Very handy for Bath centre as bus stop right opposite. Would happily go back again
Bit noisy from other visitors whose bathroom was next door.
Breakfast although continental was lovely with a huge variety of fresh fruit fresh "homemade type" breads jams and crumpets a lot of thought had gone into the variety and presentation of what was available. Staff were very helpful and friendly and although we did not eat in the pub (except breakfast) the food looked very good
We arrived about 3pm on a damp cold day the heating was not on so the room was very cold and not very welcoming we almost changed accommodation a this point but decided to stick with it the staff were helpful and found us a fan heater once the room was warm it felt much more welcoming I would recommend that they make sure that the rooms are heated when guests arrive
Staff were so friendly and helpful, bedrooms were gorgeous and everything was provided! Breakfast choice was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them
No negative points at all
We enjoyed are stay our b and b owner was very helpful
