Good location. Breakfast and evening meal was excellent. The staff were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you Lesley and Sally 10/10 We walked into the foyer and felt immediately we were going to like it here and we did. Thank you ladies again for you kindness and help.

The ambience of the property and its location to the nearby towns of interest .. my only negative was that it is such a popular choice for food in the area that parking was a bit squashed.. but that also reflects on how good even locals find the establishment

Not a lot in the centre of Kilburn ie shops, but some great walks. We walked through the forest, up the hill to the white horse. Short drive to Helmsley, a beautiful town. Walked around Helmsley Castle, very interesting and quite a bit intact. Then walked to Rievaulx Abbey along the Cleveland Way. Great for the dog. No styles, no sheep - but loads of pheasants!!
Forresters Arms in Kilburn superb to stay and eat.
