We chose the Fountaindale after searching the Internet and reading the reviews, which were very impressive, and having stayed there we have to agree with all the reviews, it was a pleasent suprise to to find that all the details about the Fountaindale were 100% correct, and we intend to go there again next year, its a must place to stay if you can get in there.

Beautifully clean hotel. Not a thing out of place. In a close part of town near the beach and shops I booked this hotel after reading on the website that evening meals were available during high season. When I phoned the hotel to book these, I was told that evening meals were no longer available. This was quite a blow, as my husband has mobility problems and cannot walk far. Consequently, we had to use the car and drive to the local Morrisons for evening meals. I think the Fountaindale needs to update their website as it is out of date.

Hotel was well run and quite comfortable. Room was spotless and made up for us every day. Bathroom also spotless with plenty of hot water, clean towels and soaps. If anything on the down side for us personally we usually like Breakfast a little earlier than 9am however the food was excellent with plenty of it, very tasty and well cooked.

We enjoyed the time that we spent there and cannot fault the service we recieved. It was a relaxing time for us and enabled us to go out locally without walking any great distance or incurring taxi costs and was situated close to the Embassy Theatre, which was the main reason for our stay. We would stay there again.

Very welcoming, Very clean and although fully booked it was quiet. Anything you wanted was no trouble and the little extras put in the room made it more pleasant. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from and no cheap brands in sight. Loved our stay and would recommend.

From the moment we arrived to a friendly welcome, we had a wonderful, relaxing time. The water dispenser in the reception area was welcome after our journey. The room was clean and comfortable with nice touches such as the toiletries provided for our stay. The bed was a dream to sleep in and breakfast was lovely, with a choice for everyone. The atmosphere and ambience was great, with friendly banter from the staff. Having 7 grandchildren we obviously adore kids but it was fantastic to stay in a child free environment for the weekend. If we decide to return to Skegness we will definitely be staying at The Fountaindale again. ♥

The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, if I'd had a white glove i'm sure it would of passed!! I don't think it could possibly be cleaner. A personal friendly welcome at the door. Lovely choice of fruit, fresh (grapes, kiwi, blueberries, melon, strawberries, apples, oranges.) and tinned (grapefruit peaches, mandarins, prunes), for breakfast with a yogurts and a variety of cereals. Fantastic location for visiting Skegness, every thing in easy reach. Only things I didn't like: The running of the hotel was a little too efficient, at times I felt uncomfortable and rushed to finish my breakfast and to leave my room. The reason seemed to be that they wanted to clean. This may not be a issue to some people but personally I felt I was being a nuisance. We were served with two extremely cheap sausages for breakfast which didn't really fit in with the rest of the hotels breakfast and image. I would like to suggest one better quality sausage would be better received. No choice of breakfast time, I think this was to fit in with the above routine.
