Upon arriving we were given a room key promptly. The facilities were amazing, the bed wascomfortable and the breakfast was supreme
Very little, although the bar staff did their best.
Tiny bed, tiny bedroom, shower only worked as a trickle and stopped when the basin tap was being used. No hot water in the gents toilet. Restaurant was cold, tables were greasy. No outside lighting from main building to rooms. Certainly not value for money. Everything needs updating!
Lovely friendly place where nothing was too much trouble stayed there as we were at a wedding at goldstone hall
quite challet style room, the windows opened fully, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.Only had the breakfast but it was brilliant with fresh produce.
find it hard to answer this.
food was great, go for a traditional burger and curly fries
wifi poor, phone signal can only be reached in car park (EE)
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was just the right size with plenty of tea/coffee. Breakfast and general food was delicious!
Friendly and welcoming staff.
Rooms could do with an update.
Setting Friendly staff Food very good Good value for money
minor gripes - water hammer when cistern filling shallow bath reception is a misnomer! - just book in/out at the bar and save time
Located in a very central position with easy access to all the potteries towns. Wonderful rural setting with 'en suite' public house selling some of the best traditional ale to be had. Contained within the public house is a restaurant selling excellent value for money food as well as providing the 'inclusive' superb breakfasts.
Fittings a little dated.
Excellent place to stay, staff were the nicest i have ever encountered, room warm and very comfortable, food was too die for and breakfast excellebt. Will be going back next year
Staff were very friendly and breakfast was amazing!
The noise of the toilet filling up after a flush!!
the friendliness of staff and comfort of room they had our room ready which was a bonus as we had travelled for a wedding, the food was lovely
Staff. Food. Atmosphere. Comfort. Quiet surroundings. Price. Made us a packed lunch. Easy to find.
Can't be helped, but ageing plumbing noise. Possibly due to water pressure in the annexe building.
Fantastic food good choice of drinks comfortable rooms
Very helpful and courteous staff....reasonably priced food
No hot water in the morning!
Food was great
Very ageing bathroom
Food was excellent. Staff were brilliant. Good location for us.
Small room, uncomfortable mattress.
Everything, we booked double rooms and only got twin rooms, when this was pointed out we were told take it or leave it, food and service is embarrassing at best, one of our guys couldn't get a shower as it didn't work and the baths are too shallow for anyone above a girl size 8
Great room, fab breakfast
having our evening meal outside and the personal privacy of our room
the lighting was very poor in the bedroom
staff was very friendly, always helping out and trying to find a solution
WiFi was not working in the room, not acceptable for business travellers and not for the price paid.
