Food & beverage

The restaurant has retained the AA Rosette award for exceptional food since 1997. The menus offer a choice of dishes using the best of seasonal Cornish produce, skilfully prepared by an experienced team led by Mark Griffiths. An extensive wine list compliments every menu. A bar menu is available at lunchtimes and in the evenings.

Area information

Close to the harbour, you can enjoy delightful ferry trips across the estuary to Polruan, or around the headland to the little fishing port of Mevagissey.

Wonderful vistas and walks are all around, with plenty to see and do on land or water. The Fowey Hotel is well place for visiting spectacular Cornish gardens - the Eden Project is just 20 minutes' drive away; the Lost Gardens of Heligan 35 minutes' drive.

Travel information

On entering Fowey, continue on the main road leading into the town. The road will bear to the right (signposted Fowey Hall, Hotel and Restaurant). Do not take this road but indicate left and take the road down into the town, then take the next right (signposted Fowey Hotel). Continue along this road for approx 200 yards. The road will bear to the right, and you need to take the driveway on the left (sign posted The Fowey Hotel Reception). Pull up to the entrance of the hotel unless you see your reserved parking space.
