Lovely warm welcome from the hosts who are very helpful and friendly. Comfortable, quiet bedroom. Delicious breakfasts. Pleasant lounge with garden views and a well-stocked bar. Frognel Hall is full of character, in an excellent location within walking distance of the town centre. Will stay here again next time we come to Torquay.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The Victorian hotel was a super place to relax away from the crowds down in the town.

There was nothing to dislike, only thing was we had to leave!

Lovely Victorian property. Away from the hustle and bustle from the main town. Friendly and informative owners who give you a warm welcome. Good breakfast!

Lovely hosts and staff made the stay at the hotel very enjoyable. Very good breakfast in the morning too. Also, good size room for a solo traveller, double bed. A really pleasant stay and I am looking forward to staying there again.

Minor point but, although the shower had good water power, it took a couple of days to get the knack of not flooding the bathroom and also for drying the towels.

Hotel with character and interest Peaceful Location with only 10 minute walking distance to marina and town centre (downhill ) Not far from beaches and cliffs. Parking facility good Helpful owners/staff Lovely clean bed linen Great breakfast (I had vegetarian and husband the fish) Information on display Gardens with seating areas If going to town/marina may be best to leave car at hotel, walk into town and get a cab back if you struggle to walk back uphill. Save on parking fees Tea/coffee making facility in room Perfect for a short break

En suite small (shower & toilet) in small double room (so not very private). Toilet door could do with renewing. Tea bags supplied in room could be improved on - (but I bought my own - Tetleys)) and sugar had gone hard.

A lovely cooked breakfast, Nice clean bedding and towels. Friendly owners A quiet spot and a car park.

Shower -too hot one second then stone cold. Not adjustable. Toilet with a "mended" seat which germs could accoumalate in the crack. We had a loft room with black mould around the opening window. Torquay very difficult to park and expensive tariffs when you could. After 5pm a flat rate of £3.00
