Helpful and friendly attention from Sylvie, the Manageress. Excellent breakfasts and a top quality dinner provided on arrival. Beautiful situation and stunning views. Very tall bath tub in our room; looks good but not as practical or as safe as a shower cubicle.

Sylvie was a great host an excellent cook and a real credit to the fron, room was beautiful and jacuzzi was amazing with the beautiful views. So peaceful with only the sound of sheep and owl in the night and to see the stars so bright was out of this world. We can not wait to come back and this time for longer stay. Nothing was perfect.

Almost everything Slightly weedy shower, but a minor complaint in an otherwise perfect stay.

Modern comfortable and stylish retreat in the country away from it all. Everything a country B&B should be. Unfussy friendly service and marvellous home-cooked food to come back to each evening. Perfect as a base for exploring mid Wales and Brecon.

Everything - It is set in stunning scenery, the only noise was the sheep. The inside was welcoming, warm and comfortable. The room was relaxing and comfy with beautiful views across the fields and mountains. The food was amazing and plentiful with a breakfast that set you up for the day. The one and only problem is the access to it as its impossible to pass a car coming in the opposite direction although there is so little traffic unless you are staying there that it was insignificant.

We enjoyed our stay at The Fron as it was so relaxing with beautiful scenery peace and quiet and service. The service was excellent and Sylvie cooked some really lovely meals and saw to our every need. Thank you Sylvie. The approach was very narrow for quite some distance and we were a little nervous being elderly and directions given were not very clear.

The location was very remote and a great escape from the normal life, excellent views and breakfasts. Very near to the brecon beacons and all the different walks. value for money, in the description of the Fron it stated that there is a restaurant and a bar, but in fact it was merely a dinner prepared by the host in their own kitchen and the bar was a drink from their fridge

In spite of arriving late, we were made welcome and looked after. As a renovator, I appreciated the amazing job done on the barn, and Sylvie matches it with excellent hospitality. The joy of realizing that we had a roll top bath in our en suite is indescribable - as is sitting in the hot tub at sunset. Wonderful spot. Getting to the Fron is a bit tricky - the sign at the 'main' road isn't lit, and is easy to miss. I'd strongly recommend travelling via Builth Wells and coming in from the north - we sailed straight past coming down off the hills in the failing light.
