The staff were polite
The complementary breakfast was very disappointing, the excuse was that the chef wasn't around. Also the free Wifi in the room did not connect
The cooked Breakfast was really nice
I didn't like that u had to share a bathroom with 5 other rooms, the music that was play in bar was not turn off by the times stated in book
At 4pm 10 minutis and i was there at the market loccation was excelent. will use again.
Television was far too small for double room Headboard were broken on both beds - weren't attached to posts - very large nail sticking out from post which was dangerous Bed creaked at slightest movement - Note to Management - TIME TO BUY NEW BEDS
Apart from the main light being broken it was far better than expected
Near motorway. Parking
My husband and I had the family room, I think it may have been just too small for two kids but great for just us. its was lovely and very clean, we had a great night at a party in the hotel. Definitely would stay again.
The bed was too hard, i like a softer bed but thats my own personal preference.
Good staff, clean rooms, ideal location for celtic park
Clean. Cheap. Very friendly and helpful stuff.
It's a pub, I had booking for weekend and I missed the information about noise on Friday/Saturday night. It was very noisy up to 1am so BEWARE! But it was my fault. What's annoying is you need to ask very busy bar stuff in very busy bar full of drunks to open the door for you every time you want to enter rooms area. I felt bad I have to take their time every time I went smoke. You guys should install some chip door system or just give key to hotel visitors. Breakfast was bad, everything was burned and rock solid. Hotel was the cheapest on my arrival date but next time I'll spend few extra £££ to stay in better place.
+ Cosy bed + Fast internet + Free tea + nice food + supermarket besides the hotel + Clean
- very small - toilets outside - Lots of noise and music during weekends due to the pub downstairs - location
|Made to feel very welcome by the staff nothing too much trouble . comfortable bedroom very clean and excellent value for money,
It was cheap As we were a group of mates the hotel was OK, but checking in at the end of the bar would not have been acceptable as a family. Ask for a room on the back of the building. Ours was on the front, and Sunday morning saw lots of traffic noise.
One room was en-suite but the other had a shared bathroom down the stairs. There was no mention of this at booking.
Comfort and Staff were great.
The hotel was very expensive. There was no free Wi-Fi
Very nice hotel in the suburbs of Glasgow. There is a pub underneath so you can go there, drink, dance and have fun and then come back upstairs to sleep :) Decent breakfast, very nice personnel.
Be careful if you prefer quiet sleeping - there is a pub underneath. It didn't disturb us at all but some people might find it disturing.
Clean, friendly staff, good food
The noise, we were only looking for a place to sleep and it was simply far too noisy. Access to hotel is via the main bar, which was packed. The nightclub round the back went on till late & when it emptied out, the drunks waited for taxis right outside window for an hour or so
Room was confortable and clean. Bathroom was also clean and nice hot shower. Staff is friendly and very helpfull.
Pub was nice, but it would be great if they have a better sellection of tap beers.
Everything! Absolutely appalling!!!
Free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities, toilet and shower in room also tv
Broken lock on toilet door, shower curtain stained and dirty, bath panel old and in need of repair
I made a mistake and booked the hotel a week later than when I needed it. I arrived a week early than when Michael was expecting us, luckily there was a room immediately available for us. We were please to find our room had a sink in it, as we were sharing a bathroom and it had a modern style. There was a teas and coffee making facility available in our room. We enjoyed our lunch at the hotel which was very tasty and great value for money. The location was great for us, as it was close to a bus stop, a day ticket to use the bus costs £4.10 per person, which allowed us to explore Glasgow city center. Michael was very kind and very helpful in giving us local tourist information on places that might be of interest to us. The hotel was also walking distance to Toll cross International Swimming Centre which is where the 2014 commonwealth Games were hosted. Thank you Michael for making us feel so welcome.
parking at hotel, very friendly staff, meals were excellent and very good value, clean
Breakfast okay; reasonable accom for what we paid
We had booked the double bed room but they double booked this and gave us twin.
Room old, but looked good. Free parking. BUT www.booking.com should remove this listing from their available places to stay. NOT at all restful!
The DJ in the bar cranked the bass to the point where the walls were vibrating. It did go silent at 10:30 p.m. Only one toilet for twelve people.
Very nice lovely place
Good location Great Price Buffet Breakfast a bonus Nice rooms Good Food
Karaoke evenings TV in rooms way too small Please put heating on in room (in Scotland, in October)
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful
