Staff were very friendly & welcoming. Rooms were clean & comfortable, breakfast was excellent.

The staff was immensely friendly and informative. They made the stay perfect. The facilities were lovely and well located for a quick trip onto the beach and along the coast.

The relaxed and 'family-like' atmosphere. Breakfasts were simply great. Great shower in the bathroom.

We enjoyed a very large room with excellent bathroom. Breakfast was great and the owners were very helpful. They gave us directions to the beach and local eating spots which were within easy walking distance. We had only booked to be near ferry to Ireland but this spot could just as easily have been used for a beach holiday. Good B & B

10min drive to ferry. longer walk to good eateries. do dine at pub recommended by owner. room & bathroom lovely. good breakfast. friendly owner

I only arrived off the Ferry at 12.30am and arrived at Hotel at about 12.45am abd was on the road again at 8 am the following morning,.But I would use the Hotel again,.

Our hosts Chris and Patrick were very helpful and friendly This is by far one of the best Bed and breakfasts we have stayed at. We will certainly return. Highly recommended.

We had a very friendly welcome and the room was spacious and very clean. Wi fi was readily available, and the breakfast was excellent. This was served in the conservatory with a good range of fresh fruit salad and yoghurts. In addition we were offered an excellent cooked breakfast.

Warm. friendly welcome, great room, cosy and comfortable.

We were greeted at the front door and made Rey welcome. Tea and coffee was available. The host recommended places for dinner. It was a very comfortabe stay. Breakfast was great.

The smell of nicotine when I first arrived was very off putting, but it did not permeate into the bedrooms.

We liked the relaxed atmosphere of the place provided by the host and hostess.

Very friendly owners who made us feel at home. The rooms are extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The breakfast included local produce and was excellent - there was choice of several items for the cooked breakfast and there was also cereal, yogurt, fruit and toast on offer. This is the second time we have stayed at the Gables and we would highly recommend - it is fantastic value for money.

There was nothing to dislike about The Gables at all.

The host was exceptional, made us feel right at home straight away. Huge value for money, comfortable beds, huge room and great shower. Will definitely be back.
