The noise was unacceptable. There is little or no noise reduction between the corridor and room;There was a problem with fire alarms. The four stars do not make it plain that it is a Scottish Tourist Board award |

Outside beer garden is very nice but drinks are really expensive The rooms are alot smaller than they appear on the website (we had the luxury bridal suite) The shower leaked and soaked the floor which made walking about quite dangerous as the floor was very slippy. The complimentary fruit basket was 8 grapes, 1 apple, 1 plum, 1 orange. |

the restaurant meals were very good and reasonably priced and the wine list was also quite good I thought the beds were a little too hard.... but that is a personal preference |

Convenient location and very helpful friendly staff Slightly under-staffed. Busy times caused delays in serving as staff, bar or reception, went missing on other tasks. |

This may be a personal preference however the bed was very small and very hard which meant an uncomfortable nights sleep.All else about the hotel was great. |
