It's is a very rewarding attempt to do good food in relaxed surroundings; we loved the modern design touches in seaside theme. The dogs loved the location - two minutes walk to the beauty of Camber Sands. The dog-friendly rooms are those next to the road and there is a charge of £10 per dog, which meant that our midweek night cost £155 b & b - plenty for this distance from London.

Friendly and efficient staff. Comfort, cleanliness, interesting decor which is modern and stylish and relaxing. Excellent breakfast. No nonsense/fuss approach....it just delivers! Thank you for a pleasant stay...our second, and I am sure we will be back! As lovers of Webbes Restaurant we have twice had a problem getting a taxi back to you after 10pm! However, we have now learnt to be more organised!!

Good location, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent food. However, the room was overpriced since it was too small and not well enough appointed for the money. At £150 per night for a double room I would expect a luxuriously fitted room with some nice welcoming gestures such as biscuits or fruit. The room was nicely designed but too small and it showed wear and tear. The staff and the excellent food served at the hotel bistro were the highlights of my stay. Also, the place is only 5 minutes away from the beach. £150 a night is overpriced because: - the double room was very small - it showed some wear and tear such as on the carpet - the bathroom did not have enough shelves or surfaces to put things on and did not have enough hooks or rails, and the toilet flush was not powerful enough - there was only one huge bath towel and no face towel - there was no hair dryer. I would go again but not at those prices.

Just about everything. The location, food, staff were all great. The outside could do with a bit of tarting up which I know is going to be done.

We love the food, the location, quality of customer service and the overall customer experience. The bed could have been a bit bigger. The bathroom did show clear signs of wear and tear.
