Really nice and relaxing place to stay.
Good location and lovely surroundings. Within walking distance of the village, where there are restaurants, pubs, a supermarket and a take-way. We had our car but there is a bus stop outside the main house, which I assume goes to Frinton, etc. Comfortable accommodation, good kitchen facilities. Friendly hosts.
Nothing- will stay here again the next time we want to go to Frinton, or just want a relaxing weekend away.
It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful lodge would definitely stay again!
There was nothing that we didn't like :)
stayed two nights at garden lodges lovely comfortable place to stay. Debbie and her daughter kirstie made us very welcome nothing to much trouble to make sure you enjoyed your stay .
Privacy, peace and quiet and spacious facilities.
It didn't bother us, but the owners have cats!
Everything about Garden Lodges was spot on from the moment we arrived till the time we left ,it's home from home,we would recommend this to anyone with confidence they are in for a very peaceful stay
Nothing,everything was great
Debbie and her family were very welcoming, thoughtful and helpful. The Lodge was very comfortable and clean in a beautiful garden. There was a generous breakfast package in the kitchen on our arrival.
Nothing. We would definitely go back when next over that way.
the lodge was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Perfect for our weekend away.
We stayed here for 3 nights it was lovely and comfortable and very clean there was a main road at the front but we couldn't hear a thing it was so peaceful
What can I say... What an excellent service myself and my wife were given the warmest if welcomes on arrival, the room was as stated excellently maintained the cleanliness was second to none...!! Every little detail was covered by the owner Debbie, what a considerate lady she really is. She left a welcome pack covering everything from things to do to place to eat. I would definitely rate the garden lodges and very highly indeed and will definitely be going back to visit in the future...!! 100% ..!! Thanks Debbie and the garden lodges for a very relaxing stay even on such a short trip, see you again soon and again thank you ...!!
Nice relaxed stay in one of the lodges. Easy parking. Great Wifi. Good location for many places nearby. Chinese Cottage restaurant within 5 minutes walk - fabulous food. Overall Excellent stay - will one day return for longer stay
Owner very friendly. Lodge was beautifully clean and well laid out with a fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden in which we enjoyed eating our breakfast. Very peaceful location. Will stay again!
good quiet country location, great wifi and plenty of space
The do it yourself breakfast was good the only thing that could have been improved was butter instead of sunflower spread
Self contained with no access restrictions. Basic comfort with nice electric shower, tea & coffee & breakfast facilities (& cooking if needed). Nice quiet location in long back garden.
Bed a little hard. But some might prefer that.
Good place as a base to tour the area.
Very peaceful and spacious surroundings. Good access to surrounding areas. Everything you need their to have a good break. Nice facilities.
This was one of the quietest places I have ever stayed...my wife said she had the best nights sleep in ages! It was nice to have a self-contained unit so we could eat when we liked. The local village had some lovely restaurants.
I can't think of anything I didn't like.
Excellent value for money. The owner Debbie was extremely helpful and accommodating. The Lodge provided a wonderful base for the area. The fully equipped kitchen, and basic provision provided on arrival (topped up as necessary) allowed us to have a leisurely breakfast when we wanted. Very Clean, Good heating and hot water.
Hard to find any faults but if you had to:-, wifi did not reach to all the bedroom but was ok everywhere else, no TV in the bedroom only the lounge, Shower was very good, but a more powerful one would have been nice. A bit of updating and one would be happy to pay much more for the extra comforts such as bigger TV and softer carpets etc.
relaxed and friendly
For me it was a place to stay on our own without others to worry about, not having to get to breakfast on time, or in a time period, we could cook our own meals if we wanted all in all a pleasant place to stay and also the garden would look really nice in the summer too
The only thing that I found to dislike on this break was the time of year that we went but we was lucky there too as it was sunny for the few days that we stayed
